Food was good but place is grossly understaffed. Customers were waiting for more than 30 minutes for something as simple as rice. 2 people ran around trying to take care of 30+ customers, all while also cooking and tending the drivers through.
Unfortunately it was also very dirty. Tables had not been wipes. Grungy surfaces bathroom trash was overflowing in the floor.
We had a party of 5 and it took some hour and 20 minutes to get food and eat.
Just two people running this place on a Sunday during the lunch crown. Really sad.. I felt bad for them.

This place gets worse each time I eat here. I love LJS ‘ s food and this is the only one left in this area and it’s quickly going downhill. It’s dirty and has hired incompetent help cooking and at the counter. Corporate office needs to step in at this one to help this store become what it used to be and get it cleaned up.

If you’re wondering if that fish taste the same as you remember back in the day, …. yes it does and this location makes it even better. How you ask? It’s not as greasy and is so fresh and piping hot!
It’s sooo good.
This is our Second time at this location and we are not disappointed at all, Both times the store was clean right after a lunch hour, the employees are extremely friendly, helpful and are making this place great. Very impressed.
Now for the A&W, oh yes that root beer is exactly what we remember of the good old days of car side.
Pairs well with that fish too!

Gotta stop when passing through. Getting harder to find. Still love their batter fried fish & chicken, plus the crunchies! Best tarter too. Yes it’s greasy, but YOLO! Its worth it on a road trip !

Love LJS. Good for you food made as bad as possible for you, but absolutely delicious. As a bonus got to witness a screaming match between kitchen and counter. Food was great. Show was a bonus LOL.

Place is always dirty. And slow. Waited in the drive through for 30 minutes after placing the order. It’s always super slow here. Even when the place looks abandoned, you will wait forever.

Food was good. However, my husband ordered a #12. When they brought us our meal his was missing two pieces of chicken. The cook informed the lady up front that they still owed him the chicken. We ate our meal and waited about 30 minutes, they never brought him the rest of his meal. Didn’t ask for a refund cause the line was 100 miles long. Will not be returning to this restaurant. Just so you know the link below doesn’t work.
