I love this restaurant. We go here often. The same man, whose name I just cannot remember right now…Robert, maybe?..is usually working the front counter and drive-thru. He’s such a nice dude. Very pleasant and always multitasking. We are always are greeted by him or the other staff, and everyone is just so great here! The restaurant is a little aged, but I love it anyway! The staff obviously works very hard to keep it clean even though there is wear on the benches and tables, on the paint, etc. It’s got a nice nostalgia to it, and I don’t mind it being a little worn or dated. The food is phenomenal!!! PHENOMENAL, I say!!! The chicken is always crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The fish is crispy on the outside and nice and flaky inside. And those crispies?! Heaven! Always fresh! I literally crave the green beans. I also really love the cole slaw! It has just the right amount of mayo so that it’s not too dry or too runny. My husband loves their corn. LJS used to have the best corn on the cob, so moving to kernel corn seemed like a horrible change, but it’s actually still great just like the cob corn!! Yay! And, I realize this is fast food…fast SEAFOOD, at that, but I L O V E this Long John Silver’s! It is a gem, and I’m happy to drive from the other side of Greenbrier to this spot on Oak Street in Conway to indulge in the great service and outstanding food here! Keep up the spectacular work, Conway LJS!!

After leaving Arby’s, we stopped at this Long John Silver’s and almost didn’t go in because the outside looked questionable. Glad we did. Steven was incredibly kind and told us the food is cooked to order. Out of respect for him cleaning, we used the drive-thru instead. Joe absolutely nailed the food — fresh, hot, and some of the best Long John Silver’s we’ve ever had. The outside could use a remodel and the drive-thru could use a pave, but the people and food more than make up for it. Ahoy to great food and even better service!

When I arrived the place was basically empty. There was one person in front of me. There was a dirty feeling about the whole store. I was appalled when I got the total for my 2 meals that were individually both under $10. I did also order 2 slices of their cheesecake, still under $10 for the 2 slices. I was expecting the total to be in the $25 range, boy was I wrong. My total was nearly $50. If I hadn’t been in such shock, I would have told them to keep it and gotten away from there. In total shock, I didn’t even think about it. The worst part of it all was that you would expect the food to be fresh. After the first bite of disappointment, I realized I had paid nearly $50 and the food was soaked in grease. If it had been properly cooked, it would be crispy and not soggy and greasy. I won’t be visiting this establishment again.

Very disappointed. Not clean at all. Fish had extra coating and like it was pre cooked and dipped again to heat up. Shrimp was not jumbo shrimp. Thr extra crumbs were cold like they were refrigerated.
Prices are ridiculous for what is served. $3 for a drink ! Just not good at all.

Walked in cashier was sitting in booth having food. No greeting just walked right to register no how may I help you! Didn’t even WASH HER HANDSAsked for fresh food seeing as to how she was chilling and the other employee came from back and went outside. As slow as it is the employees could have been cleaning up the place in their down time.

They served me raw shrimp in the fish, chicken, shrimp platter. It was pink and translucent inside. When I went to them and said the food was raw they said they cook shrimp like that showed me example. It was horrific.

Even though Long John Silvers is harder to find, this location remains a staple favorite of mine. Each and every time I have visited in the past few years, service has been above par with regard to service and general friendliness. Additionally, I have never encountered an issue with the quality, taste, or temperature of my food. I admit that the fried fish they offer may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I continue to love the flavor of not only their fish, but chicken and shrimp as well. For a quick meal of good quality, you really cannot go wrong. But, again, I want to emphasize, this location is not just great comfort seafood, it is also a friendly experience where you feel welcome! Highly recommend Long John Silvers and this location specifically!

I always have enjoyed the batter dipped fish and chicken. Unfortunately the portion sizes are smaller and the price higher. It was almost $20 for just me and no add ons or dessert.
