Haven’t ate at a Long Johns in YEARS, but Wife had a craving so gave it a shot. Ordered a 12 piece family feast and added 9 shrimp. I was thoroughly impressed! It was more than enough food for 6 people, the shrimp and fish and chicken were hot, crunchy, and tasty after a 15 minute drive home. The hushpuppies and Cole slaw were also good. The service was great as well! The lady working the line explained to me that she doesn’t start putting a to-go order together until the customer arrives so the food stays hot and fresh, but I was still in and out in under 5 minutes. The only items we didn’t like was the prepackaged cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. Very well done, and highly recommend!

The service was friendly, helpful and fast. The food was cooked fresh and delicious. The place could use a remodel and a deep clean, but it was cozy enough and nostalgic. Overall, a great inexpensive seafood dinner.

The food is good an all but wayyyyy over priced for what you get. And for a “combo” not to have a drink included is mind boggling. No they make you pay for that separately. 20 bucks for one meal at a fast food place is plum crazy. Next time I’ll spend 20 bucks on a pizza instead and feed 4 people with it.

Inside was under remodel during visit but seems it was getting ready to be updated which is going to kill the Vibe of these slowly fading restaurants. I remember the rope and pole railings. The food has basically stayed the same which is a plus.

I haven’t ate at LJS for a very long time since the Quincy location was closed . Same great food, great service by the staff. Inside of the place needs updated , but that aside, same LJS we all know and love.
