Long John’s always comes out at the top of most popular YouTube food reviews. And they deserve it!

Always fresh and tasty. Ask for ‘CRUMBS’.
Absolutely less healthy for the body but SO good for the soul

This is the ONLY Long John’s in Minnesota. Used to live down south where they are everywhere.

THANK GOODNESS this one is still here in Minnesota.

Thank you guys!!!

Food was very good, it was so hot I couldn’t eat it, like it came right out of the fryer. Service was good too.

However, I found it a bit weird, and a bit cheap, that you couldn’t get a free cup of tap water here. Every fast food place offers this. The prices at Long John Silver’s are already kind of steep; would a cup of tap water cut into their profits that much?

UPDATE: Food this salty dries you out. I had a dehydration headache for the rest of the day after I ate here. Surely this wouldn’t have happened if I had some water.

UPDATE 2: While dining at a better, nearby establishment, I saw one of the employees on their cell phone with their food service gloves on. I am not opposed to people using cell phones, but take your gloves off so you don’t get your phone germs on customers’ food.

The clam basket that I ordered was delicious. They did a wonderful job frying it to a perfect crunch. The hushpuppies were a great texture. I got Mac and Cheese as well, it was good for fast food. Employees were not overly welcoming or friendly, but they were busy doing their job. It took awhile to get my order, and there wasn’t a long line, so I like to think that my food was being freshly prepared and not necessarily just sitting under warmers. They are a little on the expensive side.

This is the only LJS left in Minnesota. The food here is pretty good for LJS. It’s fried fish just as you’d expect it. This is in a food court with lots of other options. It’s sad but they’ve taken away pop refills and the self serve sauces as a cost cutting measure. The customer service is not necessarily very friendly but the food is fairly decent. But since you are at the Mall, the prices are much higher than they should be. Worth a visit but be prepared.

Eating here brings back childhood memories. It’s a shame this is the last one in Minnesota remaining. The food was fried up for me right when I ordered it and served hot.

Why is this place going to be so cheap with condiments and expensive for mediocre food. How can you tell that a place is owned and run by someone unfamiliar with American culture. Napkins, salt, ketchup, pepper, tarter sauce, malt vinegar should be available and shouldn’t have to be begged for. And why the lazy attitude and look of disgust on the faces of the employees? It’s because of the customer you can enjoy your iPhone and fake nails.

We were excited to find a Long John Silvers at MOA. Perhaps this might be the only one in Minnesota. We always enjoyed their food. It’s good seafood. Our plates was delicious and hot. The shrimp was very large and delicious. Hush puppies and fish were good. Just wish they were closer to home.

How far long john silvers has fallen. First off its stupid expensive now (16$ for three tiny pieces of chicken and no beverage), i get some of that is the MoA premium, but the portion sized are TINY. The chicken planks are TINY, the cole slaw is dry, and the hush puppies are meh. They also charge an obscene amount for refills. Also, this places closes 1-2 hours early every day, usually shuttered no later then 8pm.

I ordered a combo dish that supposed to have hushed puppies, fried fish and chicken and french fries. It’s comes with a side of corn. The corn tasted like something came out of a can. The chicken was a thin sliced of chicken meat and over battered and deep fried. The fish was cooked the same way. Both items were over battered with very little meat in it. The beverage was non refillable. The atmosphere was kinda chaotic for a shopping mall during the week. The meals itself was over priced.

The food was bad, customer service was even worse! We ordered a family plate and when we asked for more sauce, they said No. I ended up getting our sauce from the food store next to Long John Silver’s, although we didn’t get the food from them but they were nice enough to have us sauce!
