For the 1st time in probably a decade or more, we stopped here for lunch on 1/24/26 around 1:00pm.
Ordered 2 meals via drive thru. While the wait was rather long, maybe 10 minutes, the food came out hot and freshly made and not at all greasy or oily as previous experiences have been. The guy that took the order was polite, repeated our order and was just overall very friendly.
The only thing missing were sauces. No cocktail for the shrimp and no ketchup for the fries but overall, we both pleasantly surprised on both service and food quality.

I have not been to a Long John Silver’s in probably 15 years or more. I thought I would try it out. Now I realize why I stayed away. The breading on their fish is just awful. It’s greasy and oily and has an odd flavor. The waffle fries were nice, and the hush puppies were good even though they were small. They were out of coleslaw so I had a son for beans. Will not repeat.

Haven’t been to LJS in 40 years but it didn’t disappoint! Food was good, cost effective, service was great and the tartar sauce is the best! Malt vinegar on the fries was tasty! Highly recommend for a good change!

Considering there was only 2 staff members and more than 10 customers from the front to the drive thru they did fabulous job including but not limited to dealing with the a few impatient rude customers. While still being professional and assuring.

Had Unlimited Fish on a Sunday, they served us with fresh batch of 2 fish pieces each when we finished our first 2. Fish was delicious(except the excess oil, had to drain that out with paper towels) , onion rings & hush puppies we good but fries were terrible. My problem was with the floor inside, it was slippery and kind of felt like oily . Service was good.

UPDATE:: They are open til 7pm and I finally made it there on time and I was not disappointed!! Still loving, the food, the service, and above all the triple chocolate cheesecake!! That cheesecake is off the hook and you gotta get there and try it for yourself! Ok, not trying to be this way but in the last 6 weeks, I have tried to go here three times, and tried the online ordering: disabled. I understand the why for the early closures, your lack of help, and your urgent hiring signs: shoot, I would be happy to work with ya, I need part-time work. But please, change your location times (corporate thing, I get that too) and/or have a door sign, phone message, something, ANYTHING, it’s better than nothing at all. Plus, as I sit in your empty parking lot, looking at the dark restaurant window, between 3 and 5 other vehicles pull in, only to be as disappointed as I was. I love Long Johns, but come on give me something to work here. I’ve been craving that amazingly awesome 2 piece fish for almost 2 months and every time I think I’ve got it down, I go there, only to be sorely mistaken. Please don’t take it the wrong way because I don’t know the exact situation but just give the people some type of communication, so we can adjust.

We showed up during a very busy time for the establishment and I must say that Andrea and the cook definitely went above and beyond! They handled the rush with grace, smiling faces and efficiency. 100/10 on customer service. Traveling 30 minutes was well worth it for us. Can’t wait to go back.

Fresh and good. Not used to the bottles of tartar sauce when there were pumps in the past so I feel a slight decline somewhere because of that. But food and service was great. Would definitely come back again
