I don’t know what happened here but it was a 5 Star LJS, Not today.
I only saw two employees and there use to be at least four at the lunch hour.
No manager anywhere! The two employees were trying their best to keep up, but I saw customers leave after waiting to long in line. Maybe they need a little more training for the employees before a Manager takes the day off!
The two employees were dealt a bad hand today, I commend them for not walking off the job. No paper towels in the men’s restroom. The ketchup dispenser was empty. Dining room tables and floor could have been much cleaner. I use to be a secret shopper for fast stores. Corporate needs to know about this before the doors close for good!

The past 4 times I have gone to this location they have successfully messed up my order. For giving me diet when I asked for regular, for forgetting the extra piece of fish I ordered, the last time the forgot my side of slaw. And this time the cashier almost forgot to give me my change, I had to ask for it. I love the food but will never be back to this location. Not worth the long (8-10 minute) wait

As usual with this location we had an awesome experience! The wait wasn’t too long and the staff was super friendly! The food was and just as we ordered! Not sure why others were complaining our fish, chicken, and hushpuppies were amazing! They always keep us coming back!

This place only gets two stars because it was not clean, the staff was not very friendly, and I was literally scared to go in the restroom since the place was dirty. The flavor of the fish and chicken was good, but the crab cake for the special dollar item that day was really overcooked and nasty. At the counter while we were ordering the food we misunderstood what actually came with our meal, and evidently so did the man taking our order so when the food came out I had coleslaw and my husband didn’t and we both ordered the same meal. When we brought this to the woman’s attention she informed us that we only got one side with this meal and that we had chosen french fries, however with my meal I had french fries and coleslaw. I still don’t understand her logic. I absolutely love Long John Silver’s and I will just choose a different location in the future.

Somehow I keep forgetting how horrible Long John’s is, and visit once every year or two.
This time the speaker went out part way through my order, they were kind enough to come out to my car and ask me to pull up and make the order at the window. After ordering, I had to wait pulled up in the drive through for 37 minutes, I would have left, but they made sure I’d paid prior to asking me to move.. At least 5 cars ordered and left in that time. When my food was finally brought out there was no apology or thanks for waiting.
They forgot an item from my order, though I don’t think I was charged for it. I say think, because once they finally gave me my food, it had someone else’s receipt in it so I couldn’t review.
On returning for the missing item… well it didn’t go better.
I will not return and I cannot warn others enough to avoid this restaurant.

In need of a seafood fix? It is easy to forget the local fish joint with with the ocean colored, less pretentious fish sign compared to competing signs in red and yellow. This is not the fastest place compared to McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell or even Dairy Queen and Wendy’s. However, where else can you get battered and fried fish (steamed optional) with malt vinegar, tarter sauce, a side of fried shrimp, or hush puppies.The fried food is, well, greasy due to thick batter, but nothing like an occasional indulgence. Flavor is packed from the sea. The fish is large, an average sized adult can handle up to 3 before crying uncle. Young children 5-8 are set with 1 or 1.5 fish and some shrimp. This isn’t cheap food compared to other fast-foods. Expect large portions of hot food for the money and fried fresh while you wait. Make sure to check your bag. I had to run back for sauces, even after asking if they were in the bag. Always check any pickup order anywhere. A friendly reminder. Enjoy!

Went for lunch on July 4th at the Goshen restaurant. The fish looked and tasted like it was cooked in old grease. The floor was slick and hard to walk on. We were one of the first ones in the restaurant, the dining room needed a good cleaning. My wife and myself don’t plan on returning to this restaurant.

I’m very happy with this location. Everyone has an off day now and then, but when I actually had an issue they more than fixed it to my satisfaction even when I couldn’t get back for months! Plus they have resolved why the issue happened as well. That is excellent service!

I have been in better long john silvers. There register in front wasn’t working. Had to wait on my fish. Very disappointing visit. You need to have honey in your stores, for your delicious hush puppies. Thank you for hearing me out.
