I’ve stopped at this location several times while passing through. This is the best Long John Silver’s in the Greater Chicago Area! The staff are always friendly, and the food is great. It’s fairly clean, and the best part is they still have the OG sign!

It’s my favorite junk food fish. It is very consistent. It’s crunchy, flaky and tasty. The tartar sauce is the one I copy. Coleslaw and hush puppies are also dependable. I like that you can help yourself to condiments and of course tartar sauce. I would have given them a 5 star overall but the they jacked their prices up so high. I’m afraid they won’t survive.

I ordered 2 six piece fish for me an my kids an the fish was so old tasting an was like rubbery ♂️ ♂️ ♂️ an 1 of the females seemed to me to be too playful an made sum remarks about me being hungry for ordering alot of food for me an my kids ! An i talked to corporate an i will be pursuing further about my treatment there! Spent $40 for sum food that taste old ! An they wonder why these restaurants go out of business its very sad how they treat customers ! Customer Service 0 an food 0 never again i will be going there

I door dash my order. I call the store to ask for sauce for my $40 order and they retrieve my order, they say they will put sauce in the bag..tarter vinegar etc..Every-time they don’t put the condiments in the bag, ever, even no napkins either. I will be spending my hard earned money at a different restaurant. This is the only store who does not allow you to pick condiments on door dash etc…STEER CLEAR. This is why pizza hut lost against little caesers. NOT UNDERSTANDING TECHNOLOGY OR MAKING SURE THEY COMPLETE THE ORDER CORRECTLY.

I was there about 1 hour ago. I ordered fish and shrimp with hush puppies and 2 extra pieces of fish. The fish was dried out and very greasy as well as the shrimp. The hush puppies were also dry and very greasy. I have never experienced this from here before, but when you spend 22.00 you expect quality not old dried out food.

Went in to order food. Staff never asked if it was dine in or carry out. When they were giving the food like I was dining in, had to say carryout. The lady didn’t put the food in Long John Silver packaging. She put it in a plain brown paper bag and no Long John Silver plastic bag. All of my green bean spilled into where my fish was. She did not put a lid on the green bean container. I believe the worker got irritated that she had to repackage it & threw it together. Common Sense would’ve had her put a lid on green beans. Smh. I just want some of us African Americans to to the job with great customer service and with pride please.
