Going back home to visit in lower WVa…staying in Gallipolis for the night. Across the street from our hotel was Long John Silver!!!! We had to go there! Establishment was cute, nice, roomy & the smells were amazing. We couldn’t finish our food there was that much! If you are traveling in this area, stop in, you won’t be disappointed with the smiles & say hi to ISSAC – he’s definitely the most awesome cook & has the greatest smile!!!! Everything was beyond delicious & so filling, couldn’t finish it – who doesn’t love leftovers right!!!

Visited the one in gallipolis ohio silver bridge plaza the food all of it except the waffle fries was nasty and because I did an online order they wouldn’t refund our money we go there 3 times a week not no more never again and the employees were rude when I called them I give them a rating of minus 5

The Long Johns in Gallipolis was the first one my wife and I got to eat in several years. We were visiting in this area and the restaurants back home had closed years back. It was always a favorite place to eat, so we tried this one. The inside was very clean, the lady at the register who took our order was very courteous and efficient. The young man who prepared the food did an exceptional job, as the food was amazing. After we finished our meal, I returned to the counter and told the manager how much we enjoyed it. She called the cook out and I told him how we enjoyed our meal. He was very humble and replied, “thank you sir, I really tried my best.”.

The service was completely fine, but I’ve never been so disappointed in a meal. The fish and chicken both seemed old and were definitely over cooked. Completely rubbery. Even the hush puppies were rock hard. The meat was so rubbery and tough our Chihuahua wouldn’t even eat it after I tore it up. I don’t believe I’ve ever left a bad review anywhere, but wow.

Drive thru has a rude girl who is impatient while you’re ordering and cuts you off to say she can’t hear you and then when you yell into the speaker so she can hear you she gets mad because you yelled and yells at you for yelling because she could hear just fine. She needs to make up her mind whether she can hear or not, and maybe look into other positions because she does not have the attitude and temperament for customer service.

Kind of disappointed, I ordered the chicken tenders and the crumbs.
My chicken was old and not crispy. It also left grease on my fingers when I put it down and the fries were not fresh and hot.
If the fries are not hot and the chicken is cold and greasy, the meal is not going to be good.
I was so excited to get the chicken planks because when they are fresh, they are the bomb.
Unfortunately, when they are cold and greasy, they are the bomb in a different way.
