The fish was awesome as always but the lobster bites was nasty. Tast like they had been sitting in the oil way to long. Got the order wrong (ask for Mac n cheese ) instead of fries. Got fries and no Mac n cheese. Took them a good 10 to 15 minutes to bring out the mac n cheese.

I just moved up here to Paintsville about a month ago came and got fish and chicken today and l have to say this is the worst l have ever had anywhere. It tasted like it was soaked in oil and been cooked for days we could not eat it. We live to far out to come back so we threw it away if I had lived close you would have got it back and l got my money back. Love Long Johns but will never be back and l will warn the people l know about this.

Long John Silvers has always just been “The Fish House”. Meaning the place that the older folks in our communities would go when they wanted a non catfish option. The local place hadn’t been updated in years so I just kind of stayed away.
While on a trip I saw a new LJS and took the leap. I was reminded of how decadent their fish was and really enjoyed it. On coming home I noticed that the local place was updating their decor and took a shot and was pleased. The fish is usually made to order and fresh so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but it is worth it.
