We ate here on two occasions a day apart. Our first visit, the food was ok, but very greasy. The two small beverages cost us as much as one of the diners. The Catsup packages had something sticky all over them. Our second visit was for a take out order of fish tacos. They cut the fish portion in half to put into one taco, and the other half into a separate taco. A two bite taco at best. Very small. It’s not worth the three dollar price for each one. Our first visit, we used a coupon, and our total was still expensive.

I have Loved LJS for as long as I can remember. I like to eat and take an extra four pieces of fish home with me. It’s always been consistently good tasting food. I miss the old decor. As a kid I played with the paper boats for days after we ate there. Great memories and great food.

I live in Campbell County, came through maybe an hour ago if that and bought the 16 pc Family Meal. Wait for a good while at the window, probably 20 minutes or so. Get food, didn’t check it, smdh. Get home and I only have 8 pieces of fish, 0 chicken. That’s a GREEEAAAT WAY TO WASTE $60.

Impressive! Absolutely love the newly remodeled and renovated Long John Silver’s. The exterior and interior have been completely remodeled/ renovated and it looks great. The dining room is bright and airy, with clean, crisp, blue and white decor, design and features. The dining room, food order and pickup area and men’s restroom were immaculate! This was my first visit to this Long John Silver’s location in Middlesboro and the first visit to a Long John Silver’s in several decades. My partner and I were certainly impressed with the restaurant cleanliness and friendly, efficient staff associates. Both of us ordered the eight piece shrimp dinner with two sides. Unfortunately, neither of us were impressed with the shrimp. Of course, I must add a “disclaimer ” as I do not care for nor eat seafood, with exception of shrimp. Therefore, due to my “weird ” eating habits I am very hard to please. Truthfully, I only enjoy shrimp if prepared really crisp and crunchy. Neither my partner nor I found the crunchiness or texture of the shrimp to our liking. On my next visit, I will most certainly try the chicken dinner, Which will be more appropriate for my strange eating habits. My partner has enjoyed their fish dinner on previous visits and raved about the deliciousness of the fish. Both of our meals were served with two sides and hushpuppies. I chose the fries and corn. My partner had fries and Cole slaw. Surprisingly, one of favorite features of our lunch was the delicious strawberry lemonade (we both strongly recommend it!!) Overall our lunch and visit was very pleasant! I really like new interior and exterior. Naturally, we both were thrilled and really appreciate the cleanliness of the facility. In my opinion, Long John Silver’s is one of the nicest, cleanest and friendly restaurants in Middlesboro!

I ordered a two piece fish meal with double fries. I love tartar sauce with my fish and fries and the woman at the window told me they weren’t allowed to give more than 2 packets. I even offered to pay for extra and she said they can’t give more than two packets per customer without getting in trouble!! Do better!! All I wanted was some sauce for the food I paid for. won’t be back.

11/17/24 Thought I would try the clams again. Shouldn’t have. Same thing as before…it appears that I only received a half order or possibly a snack size order. See posted picture.
Just went through the drive-thru and picked up an order of clams. When I arrived home and opened the box, I was very surprised at the amount of clams I received. I frequently order the clams and it looked like I only received a half order. I’ve noticed that when I go inside to dine, I receive larger portions. Maybe some of the employees enjoy clams and help themselves to a few!

The workers were nice. Not alot of people so it wasn’t noisy. Which I like. The floors were sticky, several drinks were out so you had to get something you didnt really wnt. The food taste fine but is just barely like warm.
