First time eating at one of these in 20 years! Saw the remolded location and decided to give it a shot!
My grandma used to eat at LJS back in the 90s.
I was impressed with the quality of the fish, the flavor of the cole slow and how well balanced the portions are. I had the fish and chicken plat and my fiance ordered the #11.
We also tried the lobster bites and those weren’t very good. But everything else was!

I have to say this is the cleanest restaurant I have ever been in! Food is always Kool Aid man “Oh YEAH”! Service reminds me of being with family because everyone always puts there game faces with smiles and makes everyone feel at home. Amanda, I think she is newer provided excellent service and answered any questions we had about the specials! And even talked like s pirate with my son! Keep up the good work and keep up the new hires like Amanda! Also the remodel looks amazing!!

I’m not one to usually complain about my food but I was very upset with the portion of chicken I got. I ordered a 2 piece chicken box and the two pieces of chicken were very small for the price I paid. They were also so dry that I had to swollen each bite with a drink. Everything else food wise was great. And the guy taking the order was very professional!!

Worst visit in the last ten times we have been here. Normally, they are great. FIVE STARS. They were a little busy. We were in the drive-Thru in 40 minutes. We ordered three regular meals. So it shouldn’t have been something that was very time consuming. Then I had to go back in and get something they forgot.
We will return, but y’all have to have more help on Tuesday at evening rush.

I give the fish and chicken 5 stars. Now I don’t like the shrimp in the same batter. But that might be me. Some people might like it. The coleslaw is good. Did not like the cheese bites. Not a big fan of the fries. The hush puppies are good. We had the sweet tea as drinks. They are good but thought it was a little pricey for them

This place has been completely renovated. Seating and decor were nice and the place was pretty empty for dining in. Only complaint is that the air conditioning was set so low you better eat your food quick before it ices over. All in all a good improvement. Still on the pricer end of fastfood but it’s expected.
