It was a bit dark inside but the food was excellent. We love the chicken from here and our restaurant closed during Covid and never reopened. I was told by two previous store managers the company was on month to month lease after it ran out and they weren’t sure about renewing. I guess they didn’t so no more Long John’s in Greeneville Tennessee service was excellent, as always. I’ve never had a bad experience with any employee in this particular restaurant, which is nice.

I ordered a 12 piece dinner , ask for it to be made fresh. I’ll let them know I didn’t mind waiting one bit but the fish , chicken & hush puppies had been deep fried for the second time. You can tell by how it tastes & how well done & extra crispy it is.

Nasty food and a huge waste of money. Went through the drive thru on 6/12/23 around 4:45pm, ordered the number 7 and a drink. The chicken was good and so were the hush puppies. The fish had a weird perfume taste to it and the fries were old and not fresh at all. I knew none of the food was fresh because they handed me the food right after I paid. The prepackaged factory tubes of tartar sauce is NASTY, it just tastes like straight mayonnaise with sugar. I wasted $13 on nothing. Not coming back here, will just go to Captain Ds next time, at least they have good tartar sauce.

This place is a great underdog story of a precovid “restaurant” that was deserted. You would go in to hear country music blaring and encounter allegedly the highest employees working. It was very fun to experience. When the pandemic struck they. Became drive thru only and their meals became two for six bucks it was a glorious time for greasy bad food lovers. But nowadays the sale is gone but everyone appears visibly sober and no music. But it has given them a steady drive thru business. Long johns is still long johns it’s great white trash seafood fairly priced if you don’t purchase drinks there. Just walk next door and get a large drink from McDonald’s. Still over half the price cheaper than anywhere.

Tessie was wonderful, she made my food so well I regained my vision after being born blind she’s amazing, extremely nice, she’s probably a volunteer firefighter, helps old people cross the street, and kisses babies (the not weird way) give this girl a raise or I will spontaneously combust into flames while eating a 3 fish combo with extra malt vinegar, thank you for saving my life.
