It was excellent. The food was made to order. Food and service are always A+. My concern is to prevent the customer from getting wet when placing the order as well as receiving the order.
I know it’s a big ask but it could be the difference between 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ or 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The rain was light on this occasion but it would be horrible to do everything right on the inside of the restaurant, and still get a 2 ⭐⭐ or 3⭐⭐⭐ review because of a flaw in design. #themoreyouknow

Maybe can’t see in pic, fish and hush puppies were WAY under fried. Doughy!!!! This drive thru order, so call restaurant, never any answer! Thru the meal away, along the $8 it cost me! This was appx 5:30-5:45.

I’ve stopped at this location a few times, it’s one of the only surviving Long John Silver’s locations in the area. Nostalgia is a key player, I remember in the 80’s going to Long John Silver’s often, it was my grandma’s favorite place to get a quick meal.
That said, times are hard for LJS and this location is no exception. The building is in desperate need of updating, and repairs. It’s not unsanitary or anything, it’s just well-worn. The food has been mostly good when I’ve stopped by, with one exception where it was obvious the oil needed to be changed out. But let’s be honest, it’s fried fish and potatoes. Hard to go wrong with it.
The service has always been good. I wouldn’t call it exceptional, but for a fast food place, they are very friendly, very helpful, and you could tell the workers worked well together. I really can’t say enough about how nice they were.

Of course it is greasy, it’s batter fried, that’s why it is so good!!
They do offer baked entrees now, but I have to have the beer batter fried stuff.
Prices have gone up some, like everywhere else.
They are usually fast to fill your order, so we just walk in a d order for carry out.

I’m only doing a one star because I’ve been coming here for year. And the chicken has always been my favorite but the last couple of weeks I noticed that you have a different chicken it definitely is a lower quality it was so chewy and it tastes nothing like the chicken you had before.This is really going to hurt your business I’ve been here and got this new chicken for a second time thinking someone messed up or made a mistake and it was worse than the first time I tried it, To be honest it wasn’t fit to eat. It doesn’t even taste good and it’s 2x smaller. I get trying to save a dollar but don’t downgrade food if you want to go smaller that’s fine make sure it at least taste like chicken!!!! So 5 star to all employees and 0 star to new chicken and get rid of it before you lose a lot of business !!

This Long John’s was very well kept and nice. The staff was pleasant as could be. Only issue we had was my wheelchair bound wife couldn’t use the restroom. Doors were to narrow. Overall very nice dining experience.

Fish and chicken were both pretty good but saturated in grease. Shrimp was just ok. Batter on fish and chicken wasn’t crispy around the edges like I remember but it’s been years since I last ate there. Doesn’t seem as good as it used to be. Service was great and order was fulfilled fairly quick.
