Always thought LJS was a step above Capt D. Not today. Fried shrimp was so tough I had to look closely to be sure was not bighting into the shell. Veges were good. Fish was thin and a little tough. $12.80 for this meal. Drink and taxes pushed it up from $9.29. Notice add says 6 shrimp, notice plate only has 5. Not a big deal, although at this price we should get what we paid for. Decorations inside are fantastic, loved the design and looked around at other tables… nice.

Good hot food. No long wait. Look at your receipt do their survey it will give you a code to write on it. Next time you go back you buy 1 30 ounce drink and you get a free fish and fries. We had a ball!!! That was 3 weeks ago. But I went again today. No problems with the food or staff at all. But the building itself needs alot of work the ladies room door doesn’t hardly open the floor in the bathroom needs repaired as well. The inside bathroom door handle is messed up and needs to be replaced. The sink constantly flows water even though it’s turned off. And the toilet needs replaced as well. These are good workers with good food but y’all need a New Building!!!

1st visit in ages. Prices have changed, higher. Decor hasn’t. I like it though. Like stepping back. Staff were super nice, courteous and helpful. Hushpuppies could use some flavor. Maybe try making tartar sauce in-house. Fish and rest, cooked superbly.

my first time coming, cash register had no clue what she was doing. i got no receipt with number on it and they were rude when i asked what number i was so i could hear them call it out. chicken seriously tastes like fish. fountain drinks tastes old and like they need to be cleaned. ketchup and ranch also taste expired. and you cannot tell the difference between the fish and chicken at all. also the door won’t shut unless you pull it as hard as possible. one meal and one drink was $23 dollars. i do not recommend. especially because of the clueless and rude attitude.

This is my favorite chicken anywhere. The service was fast and friendly and the foot was hot and delicious. They were out of some extras and sauces but I still loved it. I hope they stay in business..I will be back….sadly they are closing on December 30, 2023.

We haven’t eaten at Long John Silver in years. We were excited to see the restaurant after moving back to the area. The fish was salty and overcooked. There were only 2 people working ,they were doing the best they could to help all the patrons coming in placing orders. The lighting seemed dark inside the restaurant, and the drink machine was out of order.

Restaurant was pretty clean, service was good. Staff was very unprofessional when a customer came in and was talking with some colorful and inappropriate language, luckily no other customers were in during their back and forth conversation. It was just foul and funny at the same time. Again, the service and staff were good.
