I saw a commercial about a promo. When I asked for it, the cashier gave me the more expensive item. Not the Cod and shrimp for 5.99. I was in the drive thru for a very long time and it’s blocked in so I couldn’t pull off. My fried Twinkie looked like someone bit into it and I had to go back for my coleslaw. I don’t think that I’ll be going back here soon.

It’s a tough neighborhood and traffic is rough but this location servers up LJS the way it’s supposed to be served. The okra is tender, fresh and fried to perfection. My clams were great and I had enough to share with my spouse. The restaurant fills up quickly and stays pretty busy. They do a pretty brisk drive through as well. Hope your visit is as good as ours was.

Very friendly group everytime I visit. The manager or shift leader was a bit lacking in her customer service on yesterday around 330pm. She was having an extended conversation wit another customer, while leaning over the counter. Which would have been okay, if it had not caused me to be just standing there for an additional 3 minute’s, at least. Other than this issue, the last 4 times I have been there in 3 weeks have been superb.

The food was awesome, yes greasy but its fried so can’t complain abouy greasy fried food…
The staff was very friendly, and even offered to replace our side if we were satisfied. We were greeted upon arrival and thanked when we left.
DJ is the lady who made us feel very welcomed and along with a girl who had just started which I can’t remember her name.

Not always the cleanest of fast food places and it hasn’t changed in twenty years, but it’s reliable. If you like Long John Silver’s, then this location should suffice. The occasional wet-mop smell can be avoided by driving through the strangest shaped drive-thru. The folks are usually very friendly & helpful, also generous with sauces, ketchup, etc.

Went threw the drive-threw and the speaker was not working. Sign said to pull up.to window when ready. I pushed a red call button and a team member came to the window within 1 minute. I placed my order with a coupon and paid. Mistakingly gave the team member an extra dollar which she gave back to me with my change. I thanked her for her honesty. She went and bagged my order which was all hot and fresh. I will be back again!!!!!

The place is filthy, floors are sticky, and there is an off smell like they never change the mop water (which would explain the sticky floors). I have no idea what the food is like, because I simply could not bring myself to eat here.
Now, I love eating at a good dive, but this is a chain restaurant and the lack of cleanliness set off alarm bells in my reptile brain.

I’m not going to lie and tell you I only eat Atlantic swordfish, hand-reared by an order of blind, sea-faring monks. Sometimes, you just want some fried seafood. Might seem slow in comparison to other “fast” food, but most stuff is cooked on demand. Staff has always been friendly and responsive to me.

Friendly staff and management make for a pleasant dining experience. Cooked-to-order meals are scrumptiously delicious – inexpensive and service is speedy. They also have in-house manager’s specials. Go online for coupons.
