Always the place to go if one is looking for some good fried chicken or fish. They use the same batter so it may be a little much for some but luckily for me it’s not a problem. Prices are fair and the dining area is always clean. I recommend trying if ever near one.

Just a place I go to since we dont have a Captain D’s here. I love the chicken w/ malt vinegar. The fish is alright. Love the green beans, fried okra, and Hushpuppies. Always a decent portion, too.

The inside of the restaurant was very unsanitary, there was food all over the floor, dead insects in the window sills, and most of the tables still had food crumbs on them from where the previous person had sat and ate. The food was also not very appetizing, very very greasy.

I had been so disappointed in LJS from the last one we ate at. I guess that’s why it’s now closed. We decided to try it again at this store today and were very thrilled that it tasted like LJS from the past. Will return again.
