Worst meal ever. Waffle fries were cold and hard, shrimp was over cooked, very tough and burnt taste. Dining room was very smoky. We were expecting the fire alarm to go off at any time. We have eaten here several times before, but nothing like this experience. Will not be back.

Picked up fish and had to wait several minutes which I didn’t mind but this was the worst fish meals we have ever gotten there!! Just can’t eat fish or fries!! Cold and greasy. We usually get fish once a week!! Spent 23.00 for terrible thin greasy fish!! Seemed to have new people this evening!! If I wait on fish it’s usually fresh!!

I’ve not been to a LJS in many years. Today is most likely my last time eating at LJS. When we walked into LJS it had the smell of a fish market, late on a hot day. There was smoke coming from the fryers, not just a little but the entire time we were there. There was smoke hanging in the entire restaurant. It reminded me of being in a nightclub back in the day when everyone was smoking in the clubs. I think the cooking oil was old and the source of the unpleasant odor. Whoever was cooking must have had the temperature up way too high for the oil being used. The restaurant floors were very dirty and slippery from the oil settling on them over time. The slippery floors are an accident waiting to happen & someone will get hurt. The staff was pleasant. We were traveling in an isolated area that only had 2 options to pick from for eating.
I wouldn’t have stayed after walking in, getting a whiff of that odor combined with the smoke filled restaurant. My husband just cannot walk out of a restaurant once we have went inside, I gave up arguing with him about it many years ago.

The dining area was nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly. The food on the other hand, wasn’t that great. The long johns in my hometown(Beaver, West Virginia) that I used to go to quite often sadly closed down a few years back. The food there was great!

Service is becoming worse and worse. The drive thru speaker is pretty much non existent, you can’t hear them at all and then they get upset when you ask them to repeat. The food was so salty I couldn’t eat it and to top it off…. this is The SLOWEST RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.

The food here was better than other LJS I’ve been to. The fried shrimp is pretty good. Not a long detour from highway. The fries are still never fresh and have been sitting way too long. This is at every single LJS I’ve been to.

We didn’t think the cooking oil was hot enough. It made the fish oily. But it was early. I’ll bet we were the first customers of the day. We will go back there again, very nice people.

First time going to a Long John Silver and it was in West Virginia. The staff was very outgoing and helpful which isn’t the normal vibe we get over the border. Food was decent we had shrimp, I mean was just deep fried but didn’t over cook it.

The food was delicious but waited at drive thru window for 45 minutes and the lady taking my order was VERY Rude and Snobby, wouldn’t look my direction at all and kept her face behind the sliding window, asked if drinks came with it and she spit out a nasty no and still no eye contact or even looking my direction and didn’t ask if we wanted any sauces or seasonings and when she handed my my order she kept her head turned away I then slammed the window in my face before I could ask for anything and never once said hi or thank you or have a nice day, Nothing. I go to this restaurant once a month and have been for years and never have I waited so long or been treated so rudely. I Think someone needs to talk to Ms. Kathryn C. If she is working for the public she needs a new attitude. No one wants to have to deal with someone like that.

Got drive thru. 10 minutes later we park to eat. Half of our chicken and fish was missing. Went back walk in receipt laying beside it opened the box and the guy at the counter asked what’s wrong? I said half my stuff is missing. He was very rude and acted like it was my fault. I restated half my food is missing. He said very sarcastically why didn’t you just speak up? Shift manager took over by then and was very polite and fixed me up and apologized. Even gave us an extra piece of chicken.
