What the heck was going on Wednesday night 9/2/15. We live 5 minutes from the Long John Silver yet my husband was gone 1 1/2 hours. He even had to borrow someone’s cell phone to call me to tell me there were problems at the restaurant. He said people were asking for refunds because they had waited so long for their order and it still wasn’t ready. He said there were three people behind the counter and they kept arguing with each other. One of our orders got ready early but he had to wait 45 min. for the second order so the first one was cold. This is not the type of service we normally experience at Long John Silver…and we hope never to experience again. Someone needs to check up on management. I know the manager cannot be there all the time but this was beyond what customers should have to tolerate.

Worst Long John Silvers ever. Drive through doesn’t even work had to go inside and I am not exaggerating…. I had to wait 25 mins AFTER I order my food. The 4 customers ahead of me and the few behind me were all sitting around waiting on our food watch the one and only one cook fix our food like he was stuck in molasses. The guy working the register just stood around talking to a lady waiting on her order and did nothing.

Fresh caught grouper and sauteed scallops. Those are only two dishes of some of the finest quality seafood that one can have on the east coast. The Madison Heights Long John Silvers doesn’t cease to disappoint. While waiting in the drive-thru my wife Connie and I were excited with anticipation. We ate four different meals, and I even let her split a Diet Pepsi with me. I can tell you that Thomas and Veronica were fantastic to deal with. They handed my food to me promptly, and assured me that the grouper was “dolphin free” and caught “without nets.” With this type of eco-awareness, I can see why this is such a successful franchise. In Calgary when on holiday, we rarely get a feast so delicious. Madison Heights is one of the crown jewels in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We can’t wait to experience another fine meal at the Long John Silvers of Madison Heights.

Ridiculously long waiting time not only in line but after ordering. The guys filling the orders kept telling the counter man to stop taking orders. There were exactly five customers in the entire restaurant ahead of us. We’ve been here for 35 minutes…and we are still waiting. Unbelieveable!!
