Another spontaneous trip to the lonestar for some karaoke tonight. The green tea chopper mule is my favorite drink they serve. Copper camel shots, for the win. Always a fun time at the Lonestar Saloon!

It’s huge, that’s an understatement. Outdoor/indoor. Something for everyone. Place has character and there’s also real live characters filling up the quarters. It’s the bartending skills that carries the weight. Props to amazing cocktails and customer service.

Holy deliciousness!!! Didn’t even expect the food to be good, but it super duper is! Had the wings and deep fried PB&J! Wings were perfectly cooked and the PB&J I was just curious about turned out to be freakin incredible. Good service too.

They were out of the liquor I wanted. The bartender was acting as the cook as well so that meant that a bunch of the food wasn’t available. Then the bartender never came back to take our food order. So we went across the street. Which was full, but the service was 100% better than Lonestar.

Picture any dive bar, from pretty much any movie – Top Gun, whatever. Including 80’s rock overly bass boosted. Welcome to Lonestar Saloon.
Not being from Utah, I was surprised to see four very active poker tables, all full. Close to 40 poker players and about 8 others of us there to get something to eat (and drink). (And some to lose money.) 1 cute waitress serving the poker crowd. I surly waitress serving the rest of us. And tbh, I’d probably be surly too with that difference in income for the night. But still, with my first beer gone I was headed to the bar to ask for another when she popped out from wherever she was hiding. That should have never happened. Ces’t la Vie.
I got the Lonestar Burrito, as it was the special of the day. When I asked if they had any dark beers I practically had to drag it out of her that they had an Irish Stout in a can ( Murphy’s. Good if you haven’t tried it.) The burrito was tasty, a little spicier than I would have expected at a place like this, but not overly so. Served with beans that were a little on the salty side. And the side of quac ($2.25) was surprisingly good, though on the small side.
I think before I come back again (and I may), I’ll check to see if it’s poker night.

Macks is the best. I love this place the karaoke is pretty on point the KJ Greene is awesome. All the staff are super friendly willing to help out as best as they can. Drinks.are amazing and food is super delish! I definitely recommend this place.

Decent place overall. The atmosphere is kind of a nice dive bar. They have a good selection of beer on tap and a full bar. The service was good. It seems a bit older but was clean. The bathrooms are small, old, but clean.
