My partner and I came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day a few days late and it honestly could not have been a better choice. Getting a last minute reservation was surprisingly easy, which already felt like a win.
From the second we walked in, we were taken care of. Nick greeted us at the door and immediately set the tone for the night. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely exceptional at what he does. He gave thoughtful recommendations without being pushy and made us feel welcomed, not just seated.
Our server, Haas, was just as impressive. Extremely professional, confident with the menu, and clearly knowledgeable about every dish. You can tell when someone actually understands what they’re serving versus just repeating descriptions, and he absolutely knew his stuff.
Each course came out at a perfect pace. Nothing rushed, nothing dragged. The food was incredible. Every dish felt intentional and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was warm and intimate without feeling crowded or loud, which made the night feel even more special.
We will absolutely be back and will be recommending this spot to our friends. Thank you, Nick and Haas, for making our Valentine’s celebration feel effortless and unforgettable.

Went for the first time for lunch with a friend. We had a “delicious” time. Service had a little hiccup, but recovered well (forgot to bring our side out with entrée, it came out after we had begun eating our entrées)
My only real issue I would say, that it was exceptionally cold in the restaurant that day.
It is obviously a pricey, but they have a lovely prime rib for a great lunch price.

Beautifully prepared food, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Every bite is a true delight! The service is impeccable, intuitive, & accommodating. While the atmosphere is dark and cozy, offering ambient light as opposed to anything harsh overhead. Dining isn’t rushed. They make you feel welcomed and truly at home. Perfect spot for a special night out!

This was the best place for a romantic dinner for our anniversary! The waiter was amazing and so friendly. The candlight dinner was amazing and being on the second floor really heightened the atmosphere. It was quite expensive, but we went in completely aware.

This is an upscale Texas restaurant located in the heart of Knoxville’s old city. The menu has a wide variety of game such as elk, bison, rabbit, as well as lamb, beef, chicken and fish. The dishes are very creative. We loved the elk sliders.

Lonesome Dove in Knoxville serves an amazing dinner experience from start to finish. Our group was there for a birthday celebration, and we could not have had a better meal anywhere. The server had read my notes sent with the reservation and was aware of an allergy in one group member. He had thought through the menu and had spoke with the kitchen. Amazing attention to detail! Need a drink? The house red wine is splendid and the cocktails are original and well made. The elk sliders are an amazing way kick off a meal. We then had lobster hush puppies, spicy chili, crab cakes, and rabbit-rattlesnake sausage appetizers. All are cooked to perfection. If you want to expand your palate they have offerings, but if you want a standard steakhouse experience this is still your place. My son wanted a 19-ounce filet mignon so they went to the kitchen and custom cut the steak and prepared it to perfection. The chef even came out to make sure it was to his satisfaction. The service is upbeat, informative, and there to please. Thank you guys for an amazing celebration dinner!

The food was excessively spicy, even the salad had very strong pepper. One of the dishes, the ravioli, came with excess oil, really soaked, in addition to several ravioli being open.
The next day, I woke up with a stomachache and with the certainty that I would not return to the place. To complete, the bill was almost 300 dollars, which does not match at all with the experience offered

Came down from Buffalo for the big game tomorrow vs Vandy – been studying this menu for weeks and it did not disappoint – the cucumber jalapeño drink was delicious and it matched all the food I had, incredible stuff and service

We had a wonderful time at Lonesome Dove! We had a private dining event in the Fulmer Room and there was plenty of space for our 16 guests. We loved the ambience, restaurant location, food and drinks. The staff was friendly and helpful – Donna was efficient in helping us plan the night beforehand and it went off without a hitch thanks to her!

First time going to this place & I was very dissapointed…The server was great but unfortunately the main course it took 4 hrs to serve. I had prime rib & shrimps & it was cold. The potatoes are not even cooked well. We had reservation of 6:15 & didnt get our main course until 10p. I think that will be my first & last going to that restaurant!
