We have had a great meal here twice. The ribs, sides and sauce are delicious. We’ve ordered two family dinners and have been happy with all the options. The “Domesticated Wolf” homemade sauce is also a winner. Tonight we had it on hamburgers in place of ketchup and even the kids liked it!

First and foremost, I am writing this review because I desperately want a good restaurant in this town. I live here, I love BBQ, and I was genuinely excited about this place opening. First take out, and it didn’t end well. Half rack of ribs undercooked and flavorless, like I honestly wonder how they were cooked? The flavor in a rib usually comes from some kind of smoke, but there was nothing, and the sauce wasn’t bad, but that was the only hint of flavor in the entire dish. We ordered a few other items, and those too, were void of freshness and flavor. Perhaps there is something really good on their menu that I missed out on, but I’m going to have to give it time, and wait to hear a good review until I try again.
I read a lot of reviews, and rarely write any, but I feel compelled too. Partially because i’m bummed about my meal, but mostly because I want Lone Wolf BBQ to do better. I am dialing back my critique because I hate reading reviews that seem over the top, but I can honestly say that $50 worth of food, and I don’t really have a good thing to say about my meal. I wish the best for them, and am hopeful that they make some much needed improvements. Best of luck, and I hope this review is taken as constructive criticism and helps you put out a better product that people rave about.

I am giving 3 stars to be as neutral as possible. We have wanted to try this place since it opened. Each time we decide to order, it’s closed. I’m writing basically in hopes that the owners will see this: Please change your phone message. You still have the same message announcing the Grand Reopening in July that never happened. Please, leave a current useful and informative message. Also, please, correct your website to actual days and hours you are open or some information regarding this. Wishing you much luck and hoping we will be able to give you a try soon.

I started to order at Lone Wolf in November and after my third time ordering a delicious meal I started to talk more with the lovely couple that own and rune the place. Very sweet and hard work people.
They told me that at the end of last year Dirk, the chef, lost his mother and with his wife they were taking care of his brother.
Yesterday while I was picking up a order I Dirk got a message that his brother Francis Valentine Kiefer Junior (57 years old and Down’s syndrome) passed away.
Know that it is very hard moment for then and imaging that they will need time for recover then self.
I’m sorry for the Lone Wolf’s family
member.

Unfortunately, this was the worst bbq I’ve ever(!) had!! The 30$ rack of ribs not only tasted like it been frozen, it also must have been “finished” in a deep fryer cuz they tasted like old fry grease…yuck! Literally, inedible!!
The 22$ brisket tasted like a pot roast w bbq sauce…but at least more edible than ribs.
The slaw…too vinegared. The tomato/cuke…too much oregano. Forgot mac-n-chez on one order!!??
Really, really disappointing…esp when I’m a great smoker of meats thanx to family living in Oklahoma and a “Cook Shack” brand smoker….I was just too tired to cook this night! Now, I wish I had my $55+ in my pocket
