I was searching for a quick brunch before leaving Lake George. This place offers delicious steak and eggs, along with great coffee. My steak was cooked perfectly, and my server was very friendly and attentive. It’s also an excellent spot for kids and older adults.

I had a great experience at The Lone Bull. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked, with a buttery flavor that stood out. The potatoes were well-seasoned and crispy—definitely a solid side. What really stood out, though, was the strawberry milkshake. It was rich, creamy, and tasted like it was made with real strawberries. Simple, comforting food done right. I recommend for anyone looking for a quick breakfast!!

Great breakfast for a great price. The atmosphere is a little dated and tired. Old pine finish and sagging ceiling. But the food was great and the service was very good. I suggest the build your own Omlette, which comes with pancakes.

When 1st opened, served bkfst, lunch & dinner. Around 1989, began only serving bkfst. Sign still says Pancakes-Steaks. As a nod to their past, the serve Steak and eggs…Eggs any style, steak, homefries, and either 3 Pancakes or toast. My husband liked it. Omelets are good, and I saw a lot of customers order the French Raisin Cinnamon Toast. It’s big inside and can accommodate a lot of people, so don’t be discouraged if you see people out the door. Service is great and portion sizes are like they are from Texas! Family owned. Cute decor. Definitely worth the stop!! Wish they had gluten free options.

We went to this breakfast restaurant on a Friday morning and were anticipating a hearty breakfast as advertised on their sign out front. We were pleased with our server who was attentive and gave quick service. However the food was a bit lacking. I had the sausage and eggs and my partner had the ham and eggs- both came with pancakes. My partner was told he was not allowed to add modifications to his pancakes (i.e. blueberries), even after offering to pay for blueberries, because they were a smaller size, approximately an average pancake size. The coffee was also sour. Otherwise, it was an alright meal with good service.

Coming here for over 25 years and they never fail to satisfy. Friendly, quick service, even at the height of the season. Food is fresh and delicious. They don’t bring you just a cup of coffee, but a pot along with it. Large, clean country place. Plenty of spacious seating, large parking area. Very comfortable place to sit and relax. We love it.

Best breakfast place in or near Lake George. Build your own omelet was great. They make the food very good. The pancakes were ok. The hot chocolate was very delicious and well made with whip cream and chocolate chips. The eggs Benedict is good. Very nice presentation. I would highly recommend Lone Bull Pancake & Steak House.

Really awful place. Ignore the fake reviews from staff and soft through you’ll fine the real reviews. We debated leaving after the waitress took the order and we should have. Rude and unpleasant – zero flexibility. There is no kids menu here so they’ll charge your toddler full price and also refuse to tweak the set menus to suit. Coffee pot is put on your table and charge per head so if there is 10 of you on the table, it’s a $40 pot! Finally, when the food actually arrived, it was truly awful. Cold pancakes, inedible ‘home fries’ which were fried onions and burnt cold potato bits. The eggs were flat inedible rubber chewy things. Poached eggs were watery and undercooked. The steak ordered rare came out burnt to a crisp on one side and well done leather. Just truly awful – oh and they know the service is very poor because they treat themselves to adding 20% gratuity before tax and before they give you the bill. This goes to the house, not the waitress. It’s also very expensive – $65 for myself and a toddler for breakfast. Avoid.

The food was ok. I was expecting to taste more “homemade”. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but they were very busy and they seemed to be understaffed. The French Toast was made with a sliced bread, super thin and it was not crunchy at all. Same for the Waffle. Super fluffy, not crunchy and it was very airy. The taste was fine, but overall it was ok. I was just expecting everything to be a bit more “tasty”, “homemade”.

Been over 40 years since I was here last. I had the Mountain of Cakes and while it was great, I could not finish it. The wait was a bit long with only half the restaurant being utilized.
