One of the best Italians I have been to in the UK and the atmosphere put me straight back into Italy.
The staff and service is impeccable and the food is great value for money.
Everything is cooked fresh but served quickly.
I would highly recommend coming here – make sure to pre-book as it gets very busy (and it’s easy to see why!)
We had the burratini and tricolour garlic bread to share – incredible!
Mains were rigatoni Al forno and rigatoni Genovese – delicious!

Lombardi’s is hands-down the best Italian restaurant in Chesterfield! From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely incredible – you can tell everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. The pasta was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, and the pizza had that authentic, wood-fired taste you just can’t find anywhere else.
The service was outstanding – attentive without being intrusive – and the team really made the whole experience special. We also loved the wine selection, which paired beautifully with our meals.
Whether you’re stopping in for a casual dinner or celebrating something special, Lombardi’s delivers every single time. A true gem in Chesterfield – we can’t wait to come back!

We last visited just after the pandemic and returned to find a vastly increased size to the restaurant, busy with a great atmosphere and not to loud that you couldn’t talk. The food and drink choices were great with not one meal dissapointing any of our group of 4. Great to see the owner being hands-on and swiftly taking our order and discussing our choices. At the end of the meal ( we were one of the last tables still occupied) he returned with his guitar and confidently played and sang a few songs-he then moved on to 2 other tables and did similar. We certainly left happy and felt it was great value and are looking forward to a return visit

Lombardi’s is a fantastic restaurant! Delicious authentic Italian food and a lively atmosphere. Antonio was our server and he was great! Very friendly and even brought out his guitar to play a few songs for a birthday celebration. He turned the evening from a regular night out to a really enjoyable experience.

All 15 said their food was amazing and very tasty! The service was faultless and payment was swift and efficient. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and atmosphere and was very clean. We shall be back!!

Service was first class, Antonio I believe his name was, he was very attentive without being overbearing. He was very kind and memorable.
Food was clearly made with high quality ingredients that represented Italy in its finest form, food was fairly priced compared to the top quality we received. Wine was cold, which seems like a normal thing but sometimes it can come warm, not in this case, perfect temperature.
Atmosphere was really nice, it’s not often I feel the need to take photos of the decor and surrounding areas but this place was truly unique and eye catching, whilst being very home like. Perfect balance.
Overall I am very impressed and if I return to Chesterfield again I will surely visit this spot. Please give it a go, Antonio truly deserves all the business. Highly recommend.

Me and my partner have been here a few times now and thoroughly enjoyed it every time. The food is absolutely incredible, the staff are so attentive and can’t do enough for you, even when they’re busy. The atmosphere is lovely and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. This is definitely going to be our new favourite restaurant.
