What truly made the night unforgettable, though, was the exceptional service we received from our server, Gracie. She was attentive, kind, and genuinely warm, making us feel celebrated and well taken care of the entire evening. Gracie went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and her positive energy really elevated the experience.
This restaurant delivered amazing food, outstanding service, and a memorable birthday dinner. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be returning — especially if Gracie is working!
I’m a huge fan of pasta—okay, so it is my favorite dish. And though, it may appear to be an “easy” food to prepare .. trust me when I tell you that it is not! I’ll make my point, Lombardi is by far one of the absolute best places to go to when you’re craving authentic Italian cuisine
My mouth is watering at the thought! I’ve been a few times and wow—I’m already planning my next visit! Their seasonal/specialty drinks are also super delicious!!
-I was surprised to see that this place had overall only 3.9 stars when I looked it up, but from reading the reviews and my own experience I kind of understand. The food is solidly 5 stars but some other factors that could influence your thoughts:
-Food service was extremely slow, our party (of 15) arrived at 6:00 pm and we didn’t receive our food until 7:47 pm.
-The bathrooms were not well kept
-The servers were friendly and attentive though!
-The restaurant could benefit from some sound panels either hanging from the ceiling or on the walls, at the dinner rush you have to yell to hear each other.
Overall the food being so excellent is worthy of a 5 stars simply review.
We had a reservation and still waited 30 minutes past our scheduled time to be seated. When we asked about the delay, we were told we had arrived 40 minutes early and that’s why we were not “sat on time” which simply wasn’t true. To make matters worse, we watched multiple parties who arrived after us get seated before we did. It was frustrating and not the way we envisioned starting a special evening.
That said, the inside of the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. The ambiance is elegant and clearly well thought out. The food presentation was beautiful and well done, but honestly, it wasn’t worth the long and frustrating wait.
The highlight of our evening was our server. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and truly did her best to turn the experience around. She even brought us a complimentary anniversary dessert, which we genuinely appreciated.
Overall, while the atmosphere and service at the table were great, the disorganized and dismissive handling of reservations left a negative impression on what should have been a memorable celebration.
The food was the true highlight. The Chilean sea bass was nothing less than divine. It was tender, perfectly cooked, and full of delicate flavor. The calamari, often hit-or-miss at other places, was executed flawlessly here: lightly crisped on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired with a dipping sauce that elevated every bite.
Following dinner, the celebration continued at Secreto, where the energy shifted into a fun, lively after-party vibe. Great music, a stylish crowd, and a few celebratory toasts made it the perfect capstone to an already memorable night.
This evening checked every box. The impeccable food, excellent service, and a joyful, celebratory spirit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to host an upscale event or simply enjoy a night of outstanding dining.
With a large group, we opted for a preset menu, which offered a great selection for our guests. The family-style appetizers, including shrimp, zucchini chips, and red beets with ricotta, were a fantastic start. For entrées, we enjoyed Rigatoni Alla Vodka, gnocchi, salmon, and chicken—each dish was delicious and beautifully presented. And dessert? The limoncello was a work of art! Almost too beautiful to eat, but once you take a bite, you can’t stop.
From start to finish, the entire evening was flawless. Thank you, Lombardi, for making this celebration so special! We’ll definitely be back.
