Unfortunately the restaurant is between two unmaintained properties which affect the appeal when walking up but the restaurant itself is well maintained visually. The outdoor area was not set up; however, the staff are willing to set it up upon request. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a cozy, family vibe. I just get Italian restaurant vibes. The food was good and the price was even better. I observed how other customers were being treated and it was nice to see that they were like family…reminded me of the show Cheers. That alone is reason to return.

The food is very good and tastes fairly authentic, the portions are not too heavy nor small. The agua frescas are also very well made amd taste fresh. The service was a bit lacking this time I went they were not as attentive as usual but they are otherwise! I love coming to lunch here, they have a great lunch menu and even offer little mints after dinner!

So disappointed. So boring. Combination plate ordered by my husband and myself. No flavor, I’ve had better TV dinners. No sauce on the enchilada, none. I had a cheese enchilada, just cheese and tortilla. My husband had a chicken enchilada, just chicken and tortilla topped with a bit of cheese. I’ve never had an enchilada without some kind of sauce. It seemed like it was something a child would like, no flavor! I even tried a tamale, boring! I guess our mistake was ordering a combination plate and not a specialty item. I don’t understand all the hype 🙁

I ordered chorizo con huevos, it comes with refried beans and potatoes. It was hot fresh and very good.
