We decided we would try the Market 57 foodhall at Pier 57 as we were visiting the Rooftop Park at Pier 57 before exploring Little Island next door and walking the High Line nearby.
There are many different cuisine options in the large, airy & spacious food hall and after a good look around all of the different stalls I chose to get the boneless jerk chicken in a bowl with fries from Lolo’s, which was absolutely delicious, with a large amount of smokey, tender, tasty jerk chicken served with a flavourful pineapple sauce, a couple of pieces of juicy plantain and a large helping of fries.
I don’t know if our young server was just having an off day or if she always had her ‘god I wish I was anywhere else but here’ demeanour whilst serving me & other customers
The stall wasn’t busy and the foodhall wasn’t that busy either, however, I still had to wait over 5 minutes before my food was ready to be collected from the counter but it was well worth the wait.

Lolo’s on the water is the place to go for the best Caribbean crave in NYC. Owners Chef Mohan and Skai young were amazing right from the start. You can see their love and inspiration in every dish. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for the amazing service, love and hospitality. Salud!

The ribs were very good but a little on the tough side. The rice is also very tasty and cooked and seasoned very well. The only complaint is that it is overpriced for the portion size. Authentic carribean restaurants give you way more rice than this and a little more meat and a side of veggies as well. Plus, although the ribs were good, I didn’t taste much jerk seasoning, if at all.

Fish tacos and fish and chips, fabulous! 2 people stopped us eating to ask where we got our food. Such a good experience, beautiful view if you walk past the market and look out at the water.

Great place to grab a quick bite for lunch next to the little island. Great atmosphere and efficient service. The spring rolls are okay, but I had the salon and added the rice, which I highly recommend. It’s a market style seating, and what’s great is that it isn’t super crowded. There are also cool bars in the market as well.

Came here the other day to grab some food to head home.

When I saw “Jerk Ribs” I was intrigued and I knew I had to get some. The man at the counter greeted me very politely and I ordered Jerk wings with Peas and rice with some shrimp tacos to bring home. For drink, I had a froze.

There was a wait but it wasn’t ridiculously long. The cashier at the front kept checking in on me.

When I got my food, everything looked good! I took a couple of bites of the ribs and was astounded. The flavors were there! The rice was decent, but the ribs really took me AWAY!

I took a couple of sips of the froze and it was okay. It was tasty, but I felt like it was very sweet.

I got home and ate some and had to save the rest for the next day because I didn’t want it to finish!

I shared the tacos with my brother and we both decided they were pretty decent as well. We both rated it a 7/10.

I highly recommend getting the jerk ribs from here! They were a 50/10!

Not bad. I liked my burger. The sweet potato empanada was weird, I bought 2 only ate half of 1. My hubby got jerk chicken, rice and plantain. My fries were cold. I must’ve missed the fab food everyone else talks about. I was a bit grumpy about the 85 dollar price tag once I tried my food.

I wasn’t planning on eating here as I was just going to the rooftop to view the Little Islands but I was so hungry. I decided to get something here as there was no line.

I got this jerk chicken and oh my gosh it was the best jerk chicken I have ever tasted in my life. It was so soft and tender and was so flavorful. It was my 1st time in New York and i expect food to be relatively more expensive than my city in Canada but hey its so worth it. I wish it had a branch here in Canada. I will surely get something from them if I get a chance to be back.

Absolutely outrageous, unrepentantly inflated prices. And it’s never fun to stand at a register for 5 minutes and have the employees look at you, but completely ignore you. I understand busy-ness, but even a token “we’ll be with you soon as we can” would be great.

I was very let down by this business. The good thing is, there are a dozen other places to eat within 50 ft. I recommend you skip this one and pick one of those.
