The tacos are average, the usual fare you’d expect in Miami. I usually just opt for takeout and rarely eat at restaurants; I prefer eating at home. I understand that tipping culture is big in the US, but do I really need to tip just for picking up my order? The lady’s expression changed noticeably when she realized I hadn’t tipped for takeout.

I love this place. It is definitely a hidden gem. The food is fantastic and the tacos? The tacos are delicious!! Anyone saying this isn’t real Mexican food has obviously never tried real Mexican food. Because this restaurant makes authentic tacos. Five stars all the way, the service was great too. I will be coming back like always.

No prices written on the menu. Based on the reviews we clearly got charged non local pricing at 28$ for 2 orders of tacos. Would recommend if you speak Spanish perhaps you’d get the same pricing as locals. Tacos were fantastic, tasted like those in Mexico City.

Same experience as Stephanie in January. No prices on the menu and ended up paying $40 for a smallish burrito, an order of tacos, a Corona and a soda. No receipts provided here. We would have gladly gone back as regular customers for the delicious hot sauces and chill atmosphere, but the….. questionable business practices left us with a bad taste in our mouth. If we wanted Wynwood prices, we would go to Wynwood.

A place to stop by if you need food and are in the area. Chicken dinner was filling, and tacos were sufficient. The lentil soup was a great sized portion, but if you have diet resrictions they used hotdogs in it as a protien. Staff was kind and was able to serve us even a little after they were supposed to close. Wouldn’t mind coming back to try more.

TERRIBLE DINE IN/TAKE OUT
I ORDERED a small 20$ amount for TAKEOUT AND IT TOOK 45 MINUTES OLYS A BUNCH OF ATTITUDE from both one of the chefs in the kitchen and also the female server behind the bar. I asked politely for a time frame after waiting over 30+ minutes to be me with hostility and anger stating “it’s not my fault”repeatedly while ignoring my question- after another 5-10 minutes I reiterated my point and asked for a refund almost 40+ minutes at this point and was met with a female chef aggressively from the back further making excuses. All I did was ask simply for a time frame so I could expect how long to wait. There were a few other people dining in the resturant but no means packed or full. They were rude hostile and had no sense of urgency or respect upon asking my simple request. The food finally came out another 5-10 minutes later after frustration from both females expressed negatively and unprofessionally. The food was alright.
