Authentic, homemade, fresh, affordable and delicious lunch today. I’m super happy we checked this place out. Today is taco Tuesday so buy 2 get 1 free, I can’t recall the last time anyone has offered a free anything, score! We shared the small guacamole and chips, I enjoyed the carne asada and chorizo tacos and my husband loved his chicken and beef w/ chorizo tacos. They both came w/ a herbaceous cilantro slightly w/ a kick sauce and grilled onions as a topping. Perfect amounts. Lunch was $26 w/ two drinks, plus tip. I highly recommend.

I’d like to start by saying Im furious with myself for not discovering this place earlier. Tampa does not have a rich heritage of Mexican food a d so the offering of most places are good but not great. Grew up eating the real deal and been gone so long I guess id forgotten. Well the memories came flooding back here.
Everything we got (and got a nice mixture) was spot on.
Starting g with chips and real, chunky guacamole. Carne Asada tacos…perfect size , taste and sauces (real Tex Mex and so are the sauces).
Quesadilla was great. Did carne Asada and chorizo. Beautiful flavors and not greasy at all!!!
Pork tamale was very nice , maybe a bit more filling as it was SO.good.
Lastly the sopa was.exceptional!!!! Beautiful fresh ingredients in a perfegt blend on top of a.perfectly sine sopa. Truly one of the best dishes I’ve had in quite awhile. Masterful!!
Topped it off with an aqua horchata and it was sublime.
Absolutely will be back to work my way thru the entire menu. New #1 spot for me.

We went here for dinner. There isn’t a lot of space for seating. Most people were coming for take outs. We had chicken quessedila, chicken sopes, chicken tacos and, chicken tamales. We really liked the taste of it. Though they can work a little on the ambience. We would love to visit it again.

I have been eating at Lolis for approx 7 years or more. I am disappointed how the quality of the food is going down yet the prices are going up. Specifically, the sopes which are my favorite thing on the menu. Management needs to be aware in order to fix this problem. No one should be served food that looks like this. Barely any cheese. Barely any chicken. Old avocados. This is not acceptable. I ordered 6 and 4 out of the six had a Minuscule amount of chicken on them. Please do better! Your prices should not be going up in your service be going down. I don’t mind paying extra as I understand. The food cost are going up everywhere, but this is not acceptable.

In the area and wanted to try Lolis. Made very fast. I always look forward trying different mexican food spots. I wasn’t impressed. Ordered a few tacos and quesadilla. The tortilla was a bit cold and seemed as if no heat was involved.

Tried the pastor and steak tacos. Buy two get one free on taco Tuesdays. Also had the pork tamale and everything was tasty. I love the slice of pineapple they add to each taco, a nice kick. Also delicious sauces served with my meal. Will be back.

GREAT authentic Mexican food. Taco Tuesday and you get a free taco if you purchase two. I had an amazing pork tamale and carnitas taco. I had half of the free chicken taco (I came with a co-worker). We started with guacamole and chips. Sauces were homemade too I believe.
This is the kind of place you remember for a future trip to Tampa. Great service too!
