This southern boy felt like he was back home for lunch. Fried wild-caught catfish was cooked to order and served piping hot: crispy outside, moist and flavorful inside. Black eyed peas were hearty and delicious. Collards were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Cornbread was moist with no butter required and just sweet enough.
Location was simple and clean with a few tables for sit down and a steady stream of takeout customers. I’ll be back for sure!

the food was so delicious. i got oxtails, mac n cheese, fried chicken, yams and collard greens. everything was good but the BEST thing i got was the pistachio and red velvet cakes. i usually dont like cake, but they were so moist and the flavor was so delicious. especially after it chilled in my fridge for a bit.

We had the fried chicken which was so moist with a light, perfectly seasoned crispy crust. Pork ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious with a lightly sweetened glaze. Our yummy sides were collard greens with smoked turkey, tender cabbage, cheesy grits, and coleslaw. Can’t forget the moist cornbread too!! Our friendly waitress was so helpful with great suggestions. Next visit we’re going to try the Catfish and Oxtails. After our meal, Lola gave us the 411 on the yummy looking desserts Looking forward to our next visit!!

$3 for ONE drumstick!? Thats crazy. It used to be a $1.50. And yes, this was just a month ago before they opened up their patchhog restaurant. I used to go there once a week. I’m going to have to rethink allowing this to be my neighborhood spot.

Went to see The Sherri Shepherd show in Pathhogue. We came to Lola’s Southern Cuisine after the show. We were sitted right away. We met Mr Aaron who is the father of the owners. He went to every table to see if anything was needed by anyone. He explain how family and business is very important to him. He is very proud of children and all they accomplished. The fried catfish was outstanding and the potato salad. The greens just a little too salty for me but good. In the hour we were there the restaurant was entirely filled. The staff was really working hard to keep up the pace. Keep up the great work

First visit tonight.Everything looks and smells so amazing it is so hard to choose! We settled on fried chicken, catfish, greens, candied yams, potato salad were out of this world. The carrot cake is as sweet as the wonderful girls at the store who could not have been nicer. The atmosphere is in place is warm and inviting, even the other people ordering and waiting are so friendly and greet each other as they wait. Going to Lola’s is like striking gold! Can’t wait to go back!

Only 2 young girls worked the front.
1 rang food , the other set up trays.
No smile & no eye contact no good energy
they looked like they were having a bad day and was dragging there feet to complete orders
When I walked in there was 3 customers thatalready ordered waiting for food. service seemed very slow for it not being busy.
Hope the employees can step it up and bring that good vibe energy to the store.

Superb!!! Had to take a brochure home. The southern chicken and Lola’s BBQ entree was excellent. Comes with 2 sides of your choice. Everything was so fresh and the chicken very crispy and moist to my liking. The lady taking my order was working very hard and polite. I would definetly tell my friends about this place

Let me start with the food is terrific. But i have gone in on a few occasions, at dinner time, on a Friday or Saturday, wait on line get to order only to be told we are out of chicken?? At dinner time?? You don’t have any chicken?? Really. I asked how long will it be, 30-45 minutes.. ?? Come on guys you have to do better . And if you don’t have any chicken, let people know instead of waiting online. And like I said it’s happened more than once. Do better Lola
