So happy we decided to try Lola’s for the first time this past weekend. The staff that greeted us as soon as we walked in was so welcoming. The art was mind blowing. The staff informed us that the art is for sale. Which is so cool. Our waitress went above and beyond. We shared a few pies. The Fig and Rosemary, ham and pineapple and artichoke and goat cheese. They were all excellent. We had some appetizers and a couple salads. The sweet potato salad was my favorite. Overall the service and food was really good. This little gem will be added to our list of favorites in the Charleston area.

Lola’s pizza was such a great stop for us. The deciding factor was that they had gluten free crust an available. The small pizzas were enough for two meals. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was very friendly

I’ve had Lola’s a number of times and the experience is nothing if not consistent. I haven’t tried any of the food except the pizzas but they are always great. They have one of the best pizza crusts I’ve had.

The atmosphere is good or bad, depending on where you get seated. The best place to sit is outside. The worst is near the bar. It may be time for them to replace their dishes. They’ve been using the same plastic plates since they opened and some of them are looking pretty rough.

Service tends to be hit and miss and has always been slow at all of my visits (we had to go inside and ask for napkins and utensils and never got water refills last time we were there) and I always feel unwelcome when I go in. Realizing, that could just be me, I always ask whoever I’m with what they think and my daughter, brother, wife, and coworker all said the same.

Parking is also a problem. They have a tiny parking area and there is no other parking near the place. The closest off-street parking is a short but not safe walk away. The pizza is good but I recommend getting take-out or going in off-hours.

Pizza Variety
– Imaginative Toppings: Think smoked provolone with caramelized onions, pear-and-gorgonzola drizzled with honey, or spicy lamb sausage with roasted peppers.
– Unique Combinations: Lola’s menu proudly showcases toppings you rarely see elsewhere—each pizza is a celebration of flavor and quality ingredients.

Local Microbrew Beers

Final Thoughts
Lola’s Pizza stands out for its innovative pizzas, excellent local brews, and bright, flavorful salads. The only minor hurdle is parking at peak times, but a quick walk or early arrival easily solves that. Whether you’re a Charleston local or just passing through, Lola’s is well worth the visit!

We tried Lola’s for the first time. Quaint restaurant in a older house. Staff was polite, talkative and efficient. Love the bottled water left on the table. We enjoyed the meatball appetizer and a sausage and onion pizza. Both were delicious. A lot of folks recommended the Coconut Creme Brulee but we were stuffed.

Cozy “home” atmosphere and great outdoor seating. Parking is an issue. Salad was very interesting with a unique combination of flavors. Pizza also had unique options. Toppings were fresh and delicious! Loved the crust. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their specialty pizzas. You have to try the creme brulee!!!

One of my local favorites that always serves the best pie in town.

The sweet potato salad is a great start to any pie. They have added on a large bar area that really adds to the outdoor ambiance. The Gorgonzola cheese paired with the fig and rosemary drizzle is amazing. They have many great pie options and I’ve never had one that I didn’t like.

As always, thanks for a great pie and enjoyable evening.

Food was really good. The Monroe County pizza was my favorite. The wife and kids loved their food too. Waitress kept drinks flowing and gave good service. I would say we will become Lola’s regulars.

Cozy vibes out on the patio with cute seating and lighting. The food was phenomenal, everyone loved their pizzas and the salads were delicious too. They even had a mocktail; which was also dynamite! Have to go here, best pizza we’ve had in a long time.
