⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Lola Rose Grand Mezze
We ordered the Grand Mezze, and from start to finish we were genuinely amazed. The assortment alone is impressive—an incredible variety of dishes—and every single item delivered on flavor, quality, and presentation.
First off, the portion sizes are excellent for the price. You get a generous amount of food, and the range of flavors makes it feel like a full culinary experience rather than just a meal.
The octopus was cooked perfectly—tender, not rubbery—with a beautiful char that added a great depth of flavor. It was paired with assorted beans and spices that leaned slightly curry-like, which worked incredibly well together. The char was a standout in the best way.
We also tried their signature upside-down rice, and it was a total flavor and texture bomb. The crispy bottom added an amazing crunch and was such a creative twist on traditional basmati rice.
The beet salad was another highlight—an assortment of different beets with an earthy yet fresh profile. Throughout the entire meal, you could really taste how intentional the spice blends and flavor combinations were. Every dish had its own personality.
The homemade falafel was clearly made fresh—no chewiness at all, perfectly crisp outside and soft inside. Paired with the sauces and fresh cucumbers, it hit the spot.
For drinks, we tried their house martini and an old fashioned, and both were excellent—well balanced and thoughtfully done.
If I had to note one small downside, the pita bread wasn’t the best I’ve had. That said, the bread served with the kebabs was fantastic, so it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
We ordered both the lamb and tenderloin kebabs, and they were massive. The char was perfect, and there was a bright hit of lemon or acid that really brought everything together. The sides—fresh tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, green peppers, and multiple sauces—rounded the dish out beautifully.
The dessert was surprisingly large and absolutely delivered. From the bottom crust to the creamy, frothy top, the textures and flavors were spot on.
On top of the food, the restaurant itself is beautiful, with ample seating and plenty of space—we were just two people and felt very comfortable. The service was excellent, with staff fully engaged and attentive throughout the meal.
Overall, this is easily a top-tier restaurant. We were impressed across the board and will absolutely be back.

Thank you to the lovely hotel staff who recommended Lola Rosa Grand Mezze — you are the MVP. I’ve been to Palm Springs so many times and was genuinely shocked to discover a restaurant I’d never even heard of. We came in with zero expectations and no idea what the menu was like, but we were excited to try something new.
It’s centrally located on Palm Canyon, and since we arrived right at opening on a Friday, we were seated quickly. We chose outdoor seating because winter in Palm Springs never disappoints. We ordered a few apps to share, and our waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive. He suggested adding the lamb bacon to the hummus, and wow — so glad we listened. I don’t eat pork anymore, but I do sometimes miss the taste of bacon, and this totally scratched that itch.
Our apps came out quickly, and the outdoor deck is beautiful — overlooking the pool with gorgeous mountain views. Such a lovely setting.
I’d definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for fresh Mediterranean plates with an upscale vibe.

Our group of 4 split the Grand Mezze which gives you a choice of sampling a variety of different menu items.
Highly recommend the spicy lamb, Saffron Chicken, Grilled Octopus, Chelow, fire roasted eggplant, and for the dips the Zaatar Oil and Harissa added a nice kick to the skewers. Also the grilled Shishito Peppers were perfect.
For how nice the service indoor/outdoor atmosphere and obviously how excellent the food is I think it was very reasonably priced.

What a cool spot, and the food was amazing! Got seated promptly and the server was cheerful and welcoming. The coffee was perfect way to start. We had the chicken and waffles, avocado toast and za’tar potatoes. The Chicken and waffles so many flavors each one complementing the next. 100% recommend! We’ll be back!

Party of seven for a birthday celebration. Place was pretty full, with a DJ playing tunes, so service was slow. Took 20 min to get our first round of drinks. Food recommended was good and decent portions for the group of our size. Hummus, prawns, chicken and beef kebabs, celebration bread and pitas were all delicious.

Lola Rose at the Thompson Palm Springs is such a gem! The space is absolutely stunning, every detail of the décor, from the design to the plates and glassware, feels thoughtful and stylish. The food was just as impressive: fresh oysters, tender octopus, and a perfectly spiced lamb dish that stood out as a favorite. Dessert was a highlight too, the mango was beautifully presented and not overly sweet. On top of it all, the service was warm and attentive. A super cute spot I’d definitely come back to!

We just finished an amazing meal here with Scott as our server and every part of this evening was PERFECT!! The food, the atmosphere and the service were second to NONE! The service was consistent and the staff worked as a team to deliver a uniformed dining experience.
The prices were incredibly reasonable, and menu was organized and diverse. While the food took on the true essence of Mediterranean cuisine, the dishes were imbalanced—some being too sweet, while others lacking the acidity needed to create a level of freshness needed to bring me in for more.
Overall, happy to have visited, and recommend both visitors and locals to come to Lola Rose for the grand experience.
