The octopus was cooked to perfection. It was soft enough to cut with a fork but charred a bit to give it that sensation. We had carnitas and octopus tacos, guacamole, and churros which I highly recommend everything

Visited during monthly downtown art walk. Had delicious Sonora shrimp & asada tacos and braised lamb quesadilla along with very good guacamole with sauces and chips. Wait time and service was a little slow because short staffed and being busy but not a big deal.

Loved the vibe and the food was great . The meal felt like the person who made it was cooking for a first date with someone they really liked. Looked and tasted perfect. I ate at the bar so hard to get undivided attention so I understood. Parking not my favorite but enjoyed my visit tremendously

TL;DR: Amazing food, get a group of friends and go there now so you can order everything and get to taste it all. Also, fabulous drinks.

Great Tapas place but centered on Mexican food. The food is tasty. It’s not the cheapest place but the price is also not too outlandish. Many of the dishes are difficult to share so come with someone you don’t mind sharing a single taco with. The atmosphere is nice with oil lamps in the evening. I would recommend stopping by. The staff is very nice and checks on the table as much as they can.

After exploring the arts district, I decided to take in the Lola Gaspar happy hour. The Sangria Blanco was refreshing, the avocado fritta tacos were 2-bite sized, and the star of my vegetarian adventure were the loaded with cheese and beans. Salsa would have been a nice compliment to the food as the tacos were a bit dry. My dining companion opted for the short rib taquitos — which were reportedly the bomb.
