Update: Still amazing. The Chicago Dog is a work of art.
Looks very small in the pics but seats about 25. Cozy diner feel. Staff is very friendly and outgoing. I tried the chili dog. It was excellent. Every component was worthy of the dish: delicious chili, awesome dog, perfectly toasted bun, and a nice presentation with diced onion on top. The fries were coated and remained crispy even as they cooled. It was a beautiful day and Lokal Burger made it better with a great lunch!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff who were eager to assist. The service here is really fast, making it a perfect spot for a quick and satisfying meal.
The burgers were absolutely delicious. The patties were cooked to perfection, juicy, and bursting with flavor. I’ve ordered “Spanish” one and it was awesome.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. With its fast service, friendly staff, and mouthwatering burgers, it’s a really good chose to visit.

My goodness, what an experience!wire had the chicken tenders she said perfection!
I had the Spanish peaks. Double patties with blue cheese crumble and dressed. This is now my spot to curb that black and blue burger. Juicy patties I had to put half in my to go box.
I devoured the onion rings best I have ever had!

This place is amazing. We were craving a burger and have to say this is one of the best I’ve had. We also ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken – also excellent (my friend said it’s the best they have had. Onion rings are very good – great batter. The staff is also very friendly as others have written in their reviews.

Great little side of the road burger joint! My personal favorite is the BLT Sandwich; they aren’t playing around! Tons of gooooood bacon and the bun has awesome cheese toasted right into it. Burgers are well seasoned and cooked to order fries are tasty and so are the tots.
There’s room to eat in the diner itself but with so many shady trees and parks around La Veta, we usually get ours to go and eat picnic style. Very friendly staff, and everything is packed up nicely.
Only complaint is that the menu pictures on Google are a little out of date on a few things, but still plenty of good options!

This place is solid. I love finding amazing food in the smallest towns. Burger was tasty, their sauce in the bbq burger is so good. Onion rings perfect. Great work!
