I have a long list of allergies so I was apprehensive about trying a new Chinese restaurant but I decided to take the risk.I came across Lok Hing and went in. To my surprise they do not use any of the allergens on my list so for the first time in a long time I could order anything on the menu. I got the general tso combination and it was delicious. I am thrilled that I have found a Chinese restaurant I can order from without fear of cross contamination. This restaurant is a hidden gem on Albany Avenue in Hartford.

The chicken wings was pretty good no hair on them at all, they were a lil small but delicious. The rice was extra greasy Spanish type of rice with vegetables and pork not good at all my kids wasted it. The Lo mein was over cooked and under flavored we will not be going back there anytime soon!

Horrible the food got mad Greece they didn’t even drain the egg roll you bite into it’s all grease you can see all the grease in the bottom of the bag ! I put it on a paper towel and the whole thing soaked right through, they didn’t even drain the grease out of the food and then it tastes like they fried it and old grease is disgusting I will never eat there again

The rice wasnt the way i like and the general tso chicken wasnt really crunchy and tasted kinda eggy, but the cashier was nice and there were places to sit (something that other Chinese restaurants lack).

They accept debit cards now and the minimum is $8 dollars! One of the better of the best 2 Chinese restaurants on this side of town.
