Ms Lois gave me a favorite auntie vibe. We had such a warm conversation, the fellowship was wonderful. We missed church that day but Ms Lois fed our souls. The food was good…just needed a little seasoning. You know us younger generations like heavy seasoning . All and all I rate it a 4.9:5.

Stopped here on the way back home to Atlanta this place felt like home. Ms. Lois was very nice & sweet. The food was excellent & seasoned to perfection. I stopped for chittlins & I got jus that. Those were the best chittlins I’ve ever had. Once I left she gave me a God felt talk. It really felt like home. I’ll definitely be visiting again. ❤

Ms. Lois has been around for many years. She even had Lois lounge years ago on 9th street ( hay days). She’s been at this location for 30 years. She has the best and cleanest chitterlings in the city and the price is worth it. The dressing is to die for. When I worked in that area I was there 2 or 3 times a week. I love our long talks. I never wanted to go home to eat my dinner I sat right there and enjoyed the conversation. She always has a smile that lights up the room. She makes you feel the love from her and the food she prepares with her hands.
We as a city need to support her more. GO GET YOUR REAL SOUTHERN COOKING ASAP.

Lois’ is an unassuming place that I’d driven passed a few times without noticing but I’m so glad a quick search brought her place up.
Lois’ gave my friend and I a hearty welcome and made us feel right at home. I had the chittlins with creamy mash and turnip greens and my friend had the chicken with gravy, creamy mash and mac and cheese. Everything came out piping hot (as someone who works in hospitality in Western Australia, hot food is everything when ordering a meal) and was really delicious!!!
If I’m ever passing through Tennessee again, I’m definitely calling in to indulge in some of Miss Lois’ dang good food.

When you can go get a home cooked GOOD MEAL and get prayed for at the same time. You will not find a more kind human. She cooks EVERYDAY!!!! I have been going here for 40 years (yes 40) and I have NEVER had a bad meal the slaw alone with change you! Two things you will see a note book and a bible on her counter. Love this lady!

Chop steak and macaroni and had cornbread with hot sauce and onion and tomato.
I loved Ms. Lois a lot.
She so sweet and her heart is so good.
She prayed with us and I loved that so so much. I pray she gets many customers.
Place is older but don’t judge the place .

Lois Lounge is the best soul food in Chattanooga. Ms. Lois is so kind and sweet and she always makes us feel at home when we come to pick up food. Definitely a Chattanooga favorite! Continued blessings!

This was an absolutely delicious meal!! The collard greens, corn bread, chicken and dressing and the Mac and cheese was all ON POINT!! You purchase your drink by the bottle but it was fine for us!! We look forward to our next meal there!! Lois was very spiritual and friendly, and you could really tell that she loves what she is doing! The restaurant itself is not an upscale place at all but very comfortable and very clean. We truly enjoyed our meal!!
