Horrible Food Quality and Service.

We went to this location around 6:30pm on a Friday to celebrate a family birthday, and it was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had. I rarely leave reviews, but the number of issues made this impossible to ignore.

From the start, service was poor. Our waitress was inattentive, frequently miscommunicated, and forgot items. The restaurant was not busy, yet every step of the meal took an unreasonable amount of time.

The food quality was unacceptable. Multiple ribeyes were served cold and/or inconsistently cooked. One steak arrived cold and felt like it had been sitting out and was “rewarmed” by throwing it back on the grill— came back still cold and left uneaten. Another steak ordered medium rare came out well done, then was replaced with one that was half medium and half rare. A 16 oz ribeye looked no larger than a 12 oz and arrived only lukewarm. While partial 25% discounts were offered, several steaks were barely eaten. Caesar salads were also wrong—iceberg lettuce instead of romaine, shredded parmesan instead of shaved, no croutons, and dressing dumped on top rather than tossed. Items being actively advertised, such as hot honey butter and blueberry cobbler, were unavailable and we were not informed until long after ordering, which ruined the birthday dessert moment. Ironically, the best thing we ate all night was an appetizer—bacon on a stick.

Service continued to decline as the night went on with longer gaps occurring of us seeing our waitress.

To make matters worse, our separate checks and rewards were mishandled despite clearly explaining upfront that we needed separate checks. We were given conflicting explanations, rewards were denied after long delays, and we were ultimately told the system was “too complicated.”

Between the poor food quality, slow and inattentive service, lack of communication, and weak management, this experience completely ruined what should have been a celebration. I would highly NOT recommend this Logan’s location, and based on this experience, I would not recommend the chain at all.

We ordered our first supper from here and it was all absolutely horrible. Totally unedible and absolutely disgusting. You have to see the picture of this chicken fried steak !
I wouldn’t go back to this place if they paid me to.

We were excited to visit this restaurant because we’ve never been here before. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The Caesar salad was dripping with dressing and so garlicky, I couldn’t even eat it. The steak was supposed to be medium well , and it was completely well done. The baked potato was lukewarm , and it wouldn’t even melt the cheese that was on it. His steak was also too done and his potato was only lukewarm. His salad had old lettuce in it that was slimy. So we are very disappointed.

Logan’s Roadhouse – Houston (Near Space Center)

We had a pleasant dining experience at Logan’s Roadhouse close to the Space Center in Houston. The overall atmosphere was laid-back and rustic, with a comfortable Texas roadhouse vibe. Our food came out fresh and flavorful—especially the 12 oz. ribeye, which was juicy and well-seasoned, complemented perfectly by the grilled onions and a generous side of seasoned rice. The salad was crisp and topped with a tangy dressing, and our peach and original teas were refreshingly served in mason jars, a charming touch.

Service-wise, our female server was kind and attentive, but we did notice a couple of areas for improvement. She didn’t make eye contact, instead often looking down at the table, which made the interaction feel a bit less personal. Additionally, her speech could use a bit more clarity; enunciating her words would make communication smoother, especially in a busy restaurant setting. That said, she was still very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed—she’s clearly trying and just needs a little more experience.

Prices were fair for the portion sizes, and the place was clean and well-maintained. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely return. With a bit more polish in the service, this spot has all the makings of a top-tier roadhouse experience.

On 9/18/25 Order take out. Two Porter House Steak Dinner Well done and Medium Well. Either steak wasn’t cooked right. It started off with Marie taking the order didn’t pay attention to anything I said I don’t know where her head was at! This one guy had to come from the back three different times to ask me about what I wanted on my order. To top it off after tipping all 3 workers $5 I go home and the fried shrimps wasn’t placed on any foil shrimp battery was soggy. Spoke with the manager, manament was very nice was willing to remake the order are to make it right. I just refuse to travel back once I already made it home. $108.00 went to pure waste!!!

Came on a quaint little Wednesday because we wanted Steak but didn’t have Texas Roadhouse money.

We actually had an extremely good experience!
I got the Wednesday Steak Break with rice and mashed potatoes.

My partner got the steak alfredo minus the fried onions and gravy.

Lemme tell ya, the food was fresh and well seasoned.
I like my food on the saltier side so I was delighted and my partner who normally doesn’t said it was quite good.

Our steak was tender, juicy and flavorful.
My rice was that perfect balance between not too wet and not too dry while carrying a lovely roasted garlicky flavor.

My mashed potatoes were creamy, little flecks of skin textured the inner parts without ruining the experience while the brown gravy did it’s job of being comforting and delicious.

The prices are delightful, the staff attentive and the vibes immaculate.
We will be returning.

Wife and I went for steak dinner. We both had the Rib-Eye. My steak was 1/4″ thick on one end, 1 inch thick other end. Yes I wanted a medium – rare steak. This was well done on the thin end and really rare on the thick end.. Did not look like any Rib-Eye I ever had before… Guess they don’t season it for it had no flavor just bland… My baked sweet potato was cold and not cooked all the way. They got my wife’s potato wrong also… Service was average dinner was lousy… Will not be going back there. I do not recommend them.

Our server Kim made the visit very enjoyable. She was very attentive and suggested things for us to try. The food was awesome. I had the rib eye cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth good. Salute to the cook.

We visited Logan’s Roadhouse for the Veterans Day special, and the experience was beyond disappointing. Service was painfully slow — only a few staff members working — though our waitress was kind and clearly doing her best.

The food, however, was absolutely awful. The steak tips were more like steak scraps you wouldn’t even feed your dog — completely dried out and impossible to cut into. The mashed potatoes were cold and had zero flavor. And the green beans? Straight from the can, still sitting in the liquid with no salt, no pepper, no butter — nothing.

I understand that this food was free but if you’re going to offer a Veterans Day meal to honor those who served, at least have enough staff and put in the effort to deliver something decent. Don’t offer a “special” if you can’t execute it. It came off as careless and disrespectful.

We didn’t have any time left to wait to speak to a manager or send anything back for a redo as we’d already spent an hour waiting for one meal and a side of fries. A redo voucher would be greatly appreciated.
