Tonight we had the best dinner experience at Logan’s a big thanks to Sterling, our waiter. He was nice and always checked up on us, taking time to refill our drinks or make small funny comments all while being patient with us. 5 stars. (I would give more if I could). If you go to the one on Youree Drive, ASK FOR STERLING!!!!!!!!

The waitress started off by informing me that the bread oven and fryer were down. So, no rolls. How rude? Of course, I wanted the chicken fried steak. I couldn’t have that without the fryer working. So, there’s that. I ordered the queso and chips appetizer. The chips were stale. I sent it back. The salad seemed old as if it had been pre-made and sitting in the frig and had stale croutons. I ordered the 8 oz sirloin medium well. It came out looking about 4 oz and severely overcooked. The waitress had them remake it. The new one was well-seasoned and much larger. However, there were many inedible parts. The key lime pie was about the best part of the meal. The manager did bring me my second plate out. You would think with so many items returned, she would have credited my bill…….nope. Then, I had to pass by the kitchen to ask for some help. The manager kept touching her hair. As if to slick it back or something, then handled people’s food.
The waitress was nice enough.

We go here often, have been for years and years. .. it’s kinda hit and miss. It’s not bad, but sometimes the taste just isn’t there.

I mainly go for the rolls – they are soooooo good ! I would be happy with just them.

Today we had Reasie for a server – wonderful, she is !!
Many times we have had Doc as our server, who is also great.
They are quick to answer questions and makes lunch very enjoyable ( we do lunch, we old,retired folk and don’t stay out late).

We’ve never had an issue with service here.

I usually get a steak. They’re usually good. Sometimes it’s like cardboard. I am not a food Snob, but I do have my standards.
Most is the time to, the steak is delish! That’s why I keep going back.

The veggies are good, but seen tad too salty. I know that can preference, but salt is salt. It’s not overly powering bad, but would be better with less, imho.

Service is always great, tho. We’ve seen many servers over the decades.

The place is hot to sit and eat lunch or dinner. The waitress said with the tinned roof it doesnt stay cool on there. The waitress was even sweating and wiping her face a lot . The food was decent. The rolls are the best part.

I went there last night for my birthday and anniversary about 8:30pm I had the beer battered catfish, loaded baked potato and fries. The appetizer was onion rings. The onion rings were so bad. We did not eat them. The onions were falling out the batter. The batter is supposed to stick to the onion ring. Not these. It was so bad. The waiter took it off our bill. The beer battered catfish was 95 % breading and 5% catfish. Horrible! The fries were cold and tasteless. The only edible thing was the loaded baked potato. That was good. My wife had a steak. She said that was good. She hated the onion rings too. We complained to the waiter and the hostess. The manager never came to our table to talk to us after I saw the waiter give our complaints to him in his office. We wrote on our receipt the service was good and kitchen cooks can’t cook! We tipped 30% for his service. Not his fault the cooks can’t cook. It was horrible. We are never coming back. We would not eat there again if you gave it to us for free. When I say we are never coming back to eat there. I MEAN NEVER! WORST CATFISH, FRIES AND ONION RINGS I EVER ATE IN MY LIFE. HORRIBLE!

I took my sister who was visiting town out for a birthday lunch. The food was bad and the service was even worse. Our waitress brought rolls to our table with butter. My sister made the mistake of asking for cinnamon butter. The waitress snapped and said “we dont serve nothing but regular butter”. Soon after another table in our section asked for cinnamon butter and the response they got was “yes ma’am, ill get it right out to you. My sister then ordered steak-medium with a side salad. It arrived well past well done. She struggled to cut it and couldn’t chew it once it was cut. I ordered meatloaf for myself. It came with a teaspoon of mashed potatoes hidden under the meat with no gravy at all. I also had green beans that appeared to be straight out the can as they were room temperature. And the corn was very chewy and gummy. We couldn’t get refills at all because our waitress ignored us. And the attitude was worse after my sister asked to see someone concerning her steak. The waitress snatched the receipt out of her had and walked off muttering under her breath. We decided to pay using separate tickets. When the waitress returned she slammed down the receipt belonging to my sister and snatched my card and receipt from me. My sister had her card in hand to pay her bill and the waitress ignored her and walked off as if she didn’t see it. She then returns my card and receipt and continues to ignore my sister. We waited 10 minutes then decided to leave her ticket on the table with cash for it. The waitress just stood watching. While walking out I noticed the waitress run over to our table as we were leaving. This was such a disappointing experience. I was hoping it was the same great experience that I had enjoyed on previous visits but nope. I know times are rough for us all but please hire folks that actually want to work and not angry with the world. Please do better.

Came in Sunday 11/30/25. This was the best meal my family & I have had in a restaurant literally in years! Two steak dinners & a chicken fried steak dinner & the steaks were by far the most tender steaks we have ever had. Whoever cooked them clearly knows what they’re doing & are amazing at their craft! The chicken fried steak was obviously a fresh steak, not frozen & was absolutely flavorful, tender, crunchy & delicious! Everything from the steaks to the sides was awesome! Chef’s kiss to Logan’s in Shreveport! We WILL be back soon!

How is this place still in business. I went with my family and it was just awful. I had to fill up on the bread. I ordered a chicken fried chicken with mash potatoes and fries (I was sharing with my daughter). With the prices they charge everything should be fresh. Not the potatoes. They were instant mashed potatoes, the fries where greasy because they were under the chicken which was in a puddle of grease. I had to blot my chicken before I could even eat it. Server said nothing to me doing this. It was so greasy the crust wouldn’t/couldn’t stay on. I’ve had better gravy at Sonic or Whataburger. My husband’s meal wasn’t much better. Just two meals was $45 and it was uneatable.

My husband and I had dinner at Logan’s tonight, and it was truly the best experience we’ve ever had there. Our server, Sterling, was outstanding — enthusiastic, well-mannered, attentive, and prompt. Honestly, one of the best servers we’ve had anywhere! The food was great, and the restaurant was very clean and well maintained. Kudos to Manager Dawn for her excellent leadership and the great team she’s built. We’ll definitely be back!
