Let me preface this by saying that I love Logan’s Roadhouse as a general rule. I just ate lunch at the Lima Road location three days ago and had the best lunch I’ve had in 20+ years. It was so good, I wanted more which led me to ordering delivery for lunch from this Illinois Road location today.
I ordered the loaded mashed potatoes and two garden salads, no cucumbers, no tomatoes, and paid extra for bacon. So, my salad SHOULD have been the lettuce mix, cheese, onion, bacon and croutons. What I actually got were two small boxes (less than half the size you normally get) of just lettuce. And it was 99% iceberg lettuce. There was literally ONE piece of the field greens between the two boxes. No cheese, no onions, no croutons and none of the bacon I paid extra for! As if that weren’t bad enough, I paid $14 for them!
I also paid nearly $5 for a small bowl of room temperature loaded mashed potatoes.
This order was going to be my lunch and dinner. I intended to have one salad and half the potatoes for lunch and the other salad and remaining potatoes for dinner. But because the salads were so miniscule, I had to combine them to get one pathetic still small bowl of “salad.”
Would you be angry if you’d paid $14 for that? Especially when you look at the picture of the salad I had at Logan’s on Lima Road three days ago!

6 oz sirloin with loaded sweet potato sour delicious and the ribs fell off the bones. We took husband for birthday and we had 6 in our party. 20 minutes for wait time. So worth it waitress was amazing and so was the food. Grandson didnt like the kids pasta (noodles and sauce) but he wasnt feeling himself either. Thats the only bad thing

Everything about this place was top notch. The food was delicious. We started with the Bacon on a Stick appetizer. Five extra-thick grilled bacon strips, seasoned with their signature Smokehouse seasoning a side of warm BBQ sauce. Yum yum. For my dinner, I selected the Logan’s Steak Alfredo. Tender steak chunks in Alfredo sauce and brown gravy. Served with sautéed mushrooms & penne pasta topped with parmesan, crispy onions & green onions. My wife ordered the 8 oz Center-Cut Top Sirloin with mashed pototoes and corn. Both dishes were equally delicious. The service was excellent – fast and efficient. Just the way we like it. Our server was super helpful and very sweet. She also gave us the great meal recommendations. Finally the Atmosphere was well balanced. Just enough activity to be exciting but not so much that it was overwhelming. In most popular steakhouses it is often difficult to hear the conversation at your table because of the loud piped-in music and poor acoustics which amplify the conversations at all the other tables. It was nice to finally NOT have to yell across a three foot table just to hear and be heard. We recommend this wonderful dining spot and give it a 5-star review.

Most of what I ate was aweful. Alfr3do sauce- gross. Potato soup- cannot stand alone, gross. Garlic “rolls” are made with thier sweet rolls and add garlic and cheese- gross. Sausage Penna pasta, horrible.

We ate here on Valentine’s Day. Waited 45 minutes to be seated, which is to be expected. Our server was extremely friendly, kind and attentive. Food was hot and cooked fully. The floor manager was even helping with bring food, drinks, to go containers and resetting tables. Even as busy as it was the kitchen staff got the food out in a timely manner.

It was a busy Friday evening and they seated us immediately (previous steakhouse we tried said over an hour wait). I haven’t been to a Logan’s in years so it was nice to go back and enjoy. The service attendant was busy but pleasant, kept our drinks full. The food was very good. We all agreed they could improve the chocolate cake dish if the cake was served warm but it was all delicious. Very nice evening dining out.

Thought we’d give this place another shot for my son’s Birthday dinner. I probably wont be returning. They clearly dont know how to cook a steak or ribs and the portion sizing is just not right. 1 person in our group ordered a 1/2rack that was overcooked and definitely not falling off the bone. Another ordered a steak and asked for medium rare. It came out well done. Was sent back and came out raw in the center. He didnt want to say anything, because the rest of us were almost done eating by that point. I had mentioned it to the waitress and they ended up giving a “discount” on their meal. My granddaughter ordered the ribs, chicken tenders, fries and salad for $15. When served it looked nothing like the picture and looked like she had ordered from the kids menu. The ribs were tough, but we didnt mention that when asking the server about the portion size. She said that was the right portions for that meal. Definitely NOT worth the price. The only thing worth the cost was the chocolate cake and the key lime cheesecake. They dont do anything for birthdays either, not even a free dessert. Server was good tho.

We had the best server EVER. We came in tired and hungry. Paula was our server and she was so quick, funny and made our visit an awesome one!! We usually sit in the bar but went on the family side. From now on we’ll be requesting her for our server. Logan’s has a lot of great servers but Paula was exceptional!! It enhanced our dinner to the max.

Stopped by for lunch. First, I was suprised that they no longer have a lunch menu so gave to order off dinner menu. I ordered the ribs along with a salad and Loaded baked potatoe. None of it was good. Was highly disappointed in all of it. Texture of ribs were like a bad microwave reheat. To their defense they did come off the bone easily. Just not worth the $26 bill. Not too impressed with them anymore. Bartender was nice and good fast service. Place seemed clean too.

The first booth style seating was broken so we had to move to a table to get the height right. I don,t understand what the rush was about when we first walked in then seating (it was not busy) what was the rush? Dinning should be calm and collectively a good experience not sheep hurding it really pissed me off! I drove an hour to get there and not a good experience!
I do not think i will be going back soon…
