I had the Most unpleasant dinning experience as a person of color. The hostess when entering was nice,and welcoming. The seater was nice and cordial.
The server was not pleasant, non attentive, basically was non Custer service user friendly. Poor work server performance.
I requested more marinara for the severely scorched mozzarella sticks. Server acted like she could not hear me and replied “what?” Then after I repeated the request, she brought it to my table and just rudely slide it to my table with her back turned walking away. I always go to Logans after Valentines day “Solo” every year. I am single 67 years old, I am always, friendly,courteous,and kind to the server.
I will give that server the benefit of a doubt maybe she was having a bad day. It was around 2pm. I do not want to go back to that location ever again,even if it is 8 minutes from where I live. I will rather drive to Fultondale location to get fresh non burnt food, and great customer service than be treated as a non important customer.
Totally unacceptable I have been a frequent customer of Logans since 2014

I went to Logan’s one night recently and everything was amazing—the food and service were both excellent. I enjoyed it so much that I went back again. On my second visit, everything was good except the salmon, which unfortunately didn’t taste right. Overall, I still recommend Logan’s, just not the salmon based on my experience but the steaks yes!!

Onion rings very greasy.
Ordered steak Alfredo without brown gravy, they put gravy anyway. Made it SO salty. “Crispy” onions not crispy/ were cold. Salad was browning. Steak was perfect. Rolls were hot and fresh. Server Jonathan was nice. Way too expensive for what we got.

I generally eat at the bar which means I normally have a short wait for service, as long as the staff is balanced well. On this particular day it was. It is not always that way. The food was great and delivered with courtesy by the wait person. The drinks were prompt and accurate. Overall great experience! However, there’s one thing that always unnerves me about this place and others like this and where I think they miss the mark a lot. That’s whenever you have people standing at the front waiting for a greeter, or sitting waiting for a table when 2/3 of the tables are empty.. that points to an internal personnel management issue.

Ms. Regina was PHENOMENAL. She went above and beyond to make our dinner memorable and special. She was attentive and generous, and her bubbly personality made our night! My fiancé’s steak was cooked to perfection, and Ms. Regina brought out Marco, the chef, so he could compliment him personally! She also sent us home with extra rolls because we liked them so much! She’s made Logan’s Roadhouse regulars out of us! We will back again VERY soon ☺️

We ate at the Bessemer location at exit 1 on 459. The food was ok. Our server, Ally, was great! However when we got there we stood for quite awhile waiting for someone to acknowledge us. The lady at the bar looked at us a few times and another person on the phone looked our way a few times. We waited long enough I had time to read the entire to-go menu. One person coming in the front door told us someone would be with us shortly. Eventually we were seated, next to two tables overflowing with dirty dishes and food. I even saw one server plop more dirty dishes on the tables from her tables as she went by. That was kind of gross! Apparently Wednesday is a special steak night. We found it on the flip chart on our table at the end of our meal. That was never suggested to us. I think if I had been treated better upon arrival, and hadn’t had to look at someone else’s trash/food during my meal, I would go back. But the food wasn’t that wonderful to overlook rudeness and laziness. I will go back to Longhorn and drivew the extra distance to Texas Roadhouse.

A friend & I dinned in, we sat at the bar for faster more attractive service, & didn’t get that. Bartender took our order, brought us our, drinks, rolls, food when it all came available, & never asked us we needed anything else after that. I did want to order something from the bar but she never looked my way or stopped long enough for me to ask for anything else. (SN: It was after lunch & they were not really busy) I finally was able to ask her for something else because she only came by to ask us if we were ready for our check by then we had finished eating. This was my worst experience at a Logan’s restaurant I’ve ever had, not sure if I’ll be going back to that location.

I visited Logan’s in mccalla on February 1st with my mom and sister and the service we received from our waiter Michael Sumrall made it one of the best experiences for dining out. He was friendly, accommodating and fun to talk with. Very attentive to us also. The food was great. Everyone we encountered was friendly but again Michael was great to us.
