I went here the summer of last year and got the shrimp poboy and onion rings. It. Was. The. Bomb! So, fast forward to me going last week and getting it, ready for a repeat experience. Well, didn’t happen. The onion rings were burnt to a powdery crisp and the shrimp was burned and fried hard too. I was disappointed becuase this wasn’t a $8 meal!
I called them and told them about my meal and the manager was very apologetic and nice. He offered to replace my meal the next time I stopped by. Well, the replacement meal was cooked to perfection, golden and crisp the way it should be! However, the taste wasn’t the same as the first couple times I went last summer so… But below are pictures of the before and the replacement. Pics don’t lie.
I give them 5 stars for customer service! Hands down he was fantastic! But the flavor was a bust so, 3 stars total.

Food was horrible! Hamburger steak had NO flavor. The gravy was grey , & it had a weird smell to it. Hamburger steak was crusted around the edges & stuck to the side of the to go plate. The mac & cheese was dry & crusted as you can see. It was nasty as well. The beans & roll were the too things that were somewhat good. Basically overall, food was nasty. Service was okay. Wouldn’t recommend.

The staff are so kind and welcoming! Ayla and the slim lady (never got her name) are so sweet and go above and beyond! The food is great. If they ever have the fried chicken sandwich the week you go, GET IT. It was huge.

I came in to get some turkey and ham. The ham was delicious. Also we got the twice baked potato casserole, which was also delicious BUT, the turkey was not good. I won’t be getting any more turkey, but yes to the ham!!!
