We decided to try this venue cause it had such good reviews. Our food was not good. Roast beef, potatoes, and broccoli. Thought it might be my taste buds but my friend didn’t like hers either. Pinkish and rubbery. We normally get different food to try but this looked good on the menu. It wasn’t. I don’t recommend this dish. We try different restaurants on our outings so probably won’t be back.

Amazing food in a cool log cabin environment. The fried chicken (bone in and strips) are amazing. Breakfast is amazing. Hot brown. Amazing. I don’t know if I’ve had anything bad here. Service always friendly and on top of things.

Such a cozy little place with some really good Kentucky food! You can even order breakfast all day, except for the weekends.

Down home country cooking at it’s best! This little gem is tucked away in Covington off Madison Pike and has been there for 30+ years. It is housed in an actual old log cabin. This place has so much charm and feel good vibes running through it. The staff is sweet and the service is great. They offer breakfast all day and have an extensive selection of home cooked meals to choose from for lunch or dinner as well. Their food is delicious. I loved my breakfast bowl and goetta. It can get very busy after the church crowd on Sunday and weekends in general. So, reservations are suggested. But, my wife and I really enjoy popping in for a tasty, easy going meal or dessert. Prices are reasonable too. This place is must try for locals, travelers, and everyone in-between. Simply a fun experience everytime. Kick back, relax, and enjoy!! Yummo .

If you enjoy eating where the locals eat try Log Cabin Inn. My wife ordered the Country Ham, french fries (done crispy) and broccoli, I ordered the 1/2 slab of ribs with two chicken tenders and two sides of baked potato and salad.
Our meals were excellent. My meal could easily have fed two people. The meat fell of the bones and the chicken tenders were very moist.
The outside resembles a log cabin and the inside is very simple and country looking.
The waitstaff was polite and on the spot! I rate this establishment five stars for everything.

The fried chicken was some of the best I’ve had. Generous portions (1/2 chicken) served very hot so be careful , light crispy crust and the cole slaw was just the way I like it, lightly dressed, not sweet at all. Our meal was so good. The restaurant is an old cozy log cabin lots of history there. We were visiting and if ever back to this area it’s a keeper on my maps.

A welcome spot, in an area with not alot of non-chain food options around. You can tell by how packed the parking lot always is. Solid food, cozy feeling, and a nice break from the chain restaurants that dominate the area. I have only ever gotten breakfast, but it’s been pretty good every time.

The Log Cabin Inn has a warm, cozy atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The food was really good and fairly priced, which is always appreciated. The staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Overall a great place to relax, enjoy a solid meal, and feel comfortable. Highly recommend stopping in.

I went to The Log Cabin Inn 5 years ago and loved it. Quaint atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food . I was back in this area again, Ark Encounter, and, yes, I went back there. Ohio and KY are so close to my travels.

On a road trip made a special stop to see what they had and if it was good. Needless to say all the food i had was good with the exception of the sausage. It didn’t taste like real sausage it tasted like it came from McDonald’s. I lived the sliced potatoes. I would differently go back. Just a road trip worth taking.
