This place was amazing. The food was fantastic, the service was great and everyone was so friendly! I don’t know if I’ll ever have reason to be back in this area again, I was just passing through– but if I ever am back in the area, i”ll definitely stop here.

Tucked away in the hills this delicious jewel of a place is not hard to find and it serves some of the best breakfast I’ve had. Nothing I never had before however you can tell when the food is made with love. This is one of those places that you leave happy full of joy and satisfied with a full belly. I highly recommend this place and if you get a chance try the applcider mimosa you won’t regret it. Keep up the great work.
The sandwich I had I forgot the name but trust me the name is not the star here. It’s a French toast breakfast sandwich you won’t forget I promise, with the syrup to dunk it in.. Forgetaboutit

Went on a Saturday – place was not too crowded. We waited 1 hour for a sandwich. Sandwich was not made for what I ask which was just light on the cheese. The sides were good, but sparse. Would not return. The waitress was nice. 2 Stars for food so slow gettting out.

A wonderful cozy, place with great food at reasonable prices, a friendly staff, and a charming and warm rustic atmosphere that is indicative of the area. I love that they are very supportive of local farms and businesses. I want to thank the staff for making my 90yr old mother feel special and making her whole day! We will be coming back and I highly recommend this place to anyone living in or visiting the Cairo, Round Top, and Purling area as it is truly a hidden gem. It can be very busy at times, especially on weekends, so try a mid week visit if possible, it is worth it!

This place was awesome. Seems like everyone in town knows each other here so it felt very homey. There were some awesome decorations here too. I also recommend grabbing some local honey as it’s delicious and a great way to support the local community.

The Food:
The buffalo sandwich was pretty good and the quesadilla was also solid. The butter nut squash soup was not creamy but still pretty good.

We went twice. Once for lunch and we came back for a breakfast. Both times the food was hand made.

Only downside is they are cash only. But the prices were fantastic for the quality of food.

The lunch we just ordered some sandwiches. The bread looked made in house, the meat was tender and delicious.

Our breakfast was infinity better. We ordered a special they had “Delish Knish” with ham and cheddar and it was possibly the best savory breakfast I’v ever had. The waffle was good and the fruit was fresh, when we asked for syrup it tasted like real maple not the corn syrup crap.

Servers were good. We spent 40$ both times and that included a generous tip.

Went for the first time with a friend who’s been before. We got there a bit before lunch and waited to order. We were able to hold a nice conversation, we ordered our lunch, staff was friendly enough. They were busy! Bussing breakfast tables and getting ready for the lunch crowd. Food arrived as ordered and it was delicious. It’s a bit of a drive for me so not sure when I’ll be back, but I highly recommend. I can understand the reviews about the service but this place was packed and the folks working were handling it. Would return if back in the area.

First time here, outside doesn’t seem to be nothing Great, but the inside is Very Rustic and Cozy… Nice Menu fair prices, and the Food Was Clean and Tasty, I could taste everything in my meal individually and as a whole!
And the eye ️ appeal was on point, because people do eat with there eyes! Very polite waiters and I will be going back again!

A cute little touristy cafe that is WAY undersized and busy during any peak season but the good food and nice service makes up for it. The Log Cabin Cafe has all of your breakfast standards and they do them right. Parking will likely be busy and tight outside and you may have to wait a while for a table with a confusing seating process that seems to put party mix over wait time. It’s very cute inside and they also have a selection of grocery type items for sale so while you are eating someone might walk by your table to buy a gallon of milk!! Restrooms are clean and themed as well.
