We had the Asada Breakfast Burrito and the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito—both were fantastic, especially paired with a horchata. The salsas are a must-try! The habanero was my favorite, with a great kick that wasn’t overpowering like others I’ve had. We’ll definitely be back!

Their Al Pastor taco is AMAZING! The pineapple pieces add a juicy flavor. Great taqueria! And they sell lengua tacos, which are typically hard to find at taco places

#TueDudesEat ok, a little backward with my picture but I forgot to take a picture at the beginning, but I did at the end. This was on purpose because I am no fan of Mexican (food), as I don’t care for refried beans, black beans, sour cream, guacamole… So my options are limited. However, I will definitely be VERY enthusiastic about returning to Locos Tocoz in Maplewood. You can see I devoured my shredded beef taco, shrimp taco and Mexican Street Fries. Everyone thought their meal was awesome!

The atmosphere is cozy. I got the birria tacos and guacamole. The food was hot and fresh. Everything was do flavorful and delicious. There were multiple in house salsas at the counter to use. Mexican coke was a beverage option along with a pumpkin spice horchata. Everyone needs to try thos spot! 10/10

I had an amazing experience at Locaz Tacos! I was recommended to try this place by a coworker, and it definitely lived up to the hype. From the moment I walked through the door, I was warmly greeted and felt welcomed right away. The customer service was outstanding, attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was good to go!

The food was excellent, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The chips and salsa were especially delicious and a great way to start the meal. Everything I ordered exceeded my expectations.

I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Locaz Tacos to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!

A very small little taco shop, the food is very good, the beef was not a ground beef but it was shredded, this was in there gringo taco. The chicken, is a grilled chicken with some good spice, they have a myriad of sauces for you to choose from. We tried extra spicy and hot. Both had a pretty good flavor. Overall they were very fast and preparing our food to go. the downside to this place is the menu. I took pictures of the above menu which looks perfectly fine. But there is no pricing on any of the things there. Instead they have another version of the menu to the left in chalk, with pricing and things like that. The menu on the chalkboard for the pricing is a little confusing. It says minimum two tacos or three tacos etc … And then has a price. Thinking that the two or three tacos is a meal, and you can add more tacos after that. With the price being right next to it. It looks more like this is the price for two or three tacos. Then you have the fish taco, which is two tacos for the price next to it. Which adds more confusion. They need to place their prices on the top menu that way we know there’s a consistency for the price of the tacos. And have specials on the chalkboard. If there is a minimum purchase of two or three tacos, place the full price for those two or three tacos. Then add the price for individual tacos with that meal. All prices for the tacos and food need to be on the top board so it’s easy to see, and not on a chalkboard to the side with stuff in front of it. Things they need to improve. Pricing on the top board, for individual tacos, special pricing and specials on the chalkboard that can be adjusted daily. A more clear menu on pricing per individual Taco as well as if there is a minimum of two or three tacos that need to be purchased, then they need to rope it into a full price for that meal. With the cost of every individual taco price next to that. I’m removing one star because they are not offering a military discount. Or free drink to military and veterans with a purchase. They are a little expensive for the tacos, but the tacos do taste good. Four tacos for $25 is a little much.

I’ve been wanting to try this place since I met the owner at my old job, and it was definitely worth the wait!

I came in for breakfast, but it was Wednesday and I didn’t realize breakfast was only available on weekends, so take note if you’re wanting a breakfast burrito.

I ended up ordering street tacos and Locoz fries. I got asada, lengua, and birria. I’ve had street tacos from other places where the tortilla was floppy and bland, but these were crispy and flavorful, which I appreciated. All the tacos were delicious and I can’t wait to try other meats.

The fries were much bigger than I anticipated. It was piled high with toppings and the fries stayed mostly crispy throughout. Definitely would have again.

If you’re a fan of salsa/hot sauce, they make their own in store and brother, let me tell you, the heat on some of these is no joke. I had tears in my eyes (in a good way). I will definitely be returning for breakfast.

Stopped by for lunch and wasn’t overly impressed for my $30. The tacos had good flavor but were dry. The mexi fries are advertised as”Side of seasoned fries covered in queso, mixed with pico” – they had plasticky nacho cheese on them and no pico. Peach marg with tajin was good. The TV right above our table was loud. I wouldn’t come back.

Their Quesabirria tacos are the best. There is something about the shell that tastes really good. Those are way better than their regular tacos (second photo). The dipping sauce really makes it worth the trip there.

The one thing I wish they provided tap water to drink instead of trying to push for the bottle water sale.

If you need to use the bathroom, you will need to ask for a key from the register which is quite a hassle. Other businesses on the same street do not appear to do that. I find it quite annoying if you need have the urge to relieve yourself past you may have to wait a while
