Spent $50 on chicken and beef tacos with onion and sour cream and cheese. I got 6 plain chicken tacos with no toppings… and no beef tacos. They gave me berria tacos instead.. so my girlfriend didn’t eat because nothing was right. $50 down the drain. Oh and when you try to call them they send you to voicemail after 2 rings. Have not received a call back. Have been trying to contact them for 2 days now. I hate to be the one to leave a review but money doesn’t grow on trees… quite expensive to get nothing that ordered correct. Food is great, service is terrible.

I was super excited to go here for taco Tuesday but I was disappointed to see all the variances in pricing. Online the birria tacos were 2/$5 and on the side window, it said 2/$6 but upon arrival, the woman at the counter said they are now $4/each! When myself and the guy in front questioned the price differences listed versus what we were quoted, she just shrugged and said it went up. The consumé was sold by itself for an additional $2 and it was honestly very bland. They looked visually appealing but the taste is lacking. Back to Cilantro Tacqueria for me. Sorry but the food quality, taste and customer service here isn’t worth the wait.

If you want authentic Mexican food come here. It’s a small building with a walk up window and a drive thru. They also have a few benches out front that you can sit at. There is a decent amount of parking in the lot for free. The cashier was so sweet and polite. They have a lot of different items to choose from and they even have ice cream. I got the crunchy tacos with beef and birria tacos. The ingredients were fresh. Yum yum yum! I’ll definitely be back here.

First time coming really wanted just tacos and it was decent! Wish the birra tacos came with the actual dipping sauce instead of the sweet one it comes with. Regular tacos were great and my husband liked his burrito. Tacos are normal taco sizing so all the bad reviews saying they’re tiny is wrong. Milkshakes were delicious too! Was about a 30 min wait but we understand fresh food takes time! Willing to try again!

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. I really wanted to like this place because it’s close to where I work, but they are very disorganized, very dirty inside, the food is not good at all… and for what you get, it is very overpriced!!

This was my second visit and it’s been a while since my first time. I ordered a beef burrito on my first visit and thought it had a very odd taste, but just couldn’t pin point it. Since they’re close though, I thought I would give them a second chance.

I figured this time around, I would order something simple. Soft Tacos. You can’t screw up soft tacos, right?

I parked, went to the walk up window for service and was greeted quickly. I ordered 4 of their tacos, which they call “birria tacos” with a soft shell. 2 beef and 2 chicken to be specific. The total came to $12.00 which for really good tacos, seems to be typical. I gave my name and was told it would only be about 5 minutes.

Since I was the only person there at the time, 5 minutes sounded about right. After waiting about 5 minutes, another young lady came to the window and said “you can go wait in your car and wait since it’s cold and I’ll bring your food out as soon as it’s ready”.

At that time, I also decided to order a side of Pico de gallo which they had listed on the menu board for $.99… but after I ordered it, she they told me $2.00. When I said it’s listed for $.99 on their menu, she replied yea, well everything on the menu is listed at our old prices and they have changed. What??? Apparently the new prices are not listed anywhere because the other girl was looking at her like she just made that up and since that was their only menu???
I hate the “no listed prices game”, but I wanted the Pico, so I paid her and proceeded to my car as she suggested.

Again, I was told only 5 minutes for the 4 soft tacos I ordered, so after waiting the 5 minutes at the window, then sitting in my car for another 15 MINUTES… I finally went back up to the window. The girl who had taken my order left (she was parked next to me) and the one who said she would bring my food out was the only one there.

She was mopping the floor when I walked back up, so after standing there for another minute or two, I finally had to knock on the window a few times to get her attention.

When I asked about my order and told her the original person told it would only be 5 minutes and that my lunch is almost over, she looked lost and asked for my name and what I ordered again. She walked back to the kitchen and when she came back out, looked at a bag on the counter and said, Oh yes, this is your order. They only wrote phone on it, so I didn’t know it was yours. No apology.

I took the order and left since my lunch was nearly over, but I really should have looked first. There were 4 hard tacos in the box, not soft like I had ordered and they were tiny little things.

I hate hard tacos, but since I was really hungry, they were so expensive and since my lunch was nearly over, I ate them anyway in the parking lot of my work. The chicken tacos were very bland, but the beef tacos were disgusting and after looking it up, I realized that they tasted true to the birria name (Goat meat). In other words, they have a very weird Middle Eastern lamb like flavor that has no business being on a beef taco. Also, the box they cam in was gross with greasy finger prints all over it. See the photos. Worst of all, as we all know, tacos are messy and they gave me a fork… but NO NAPKINS!!! Afterword, I remembered that they forgot to include napkins the last time also.

Needless to say, I will not be visiting here again.

We stopped by last week for lunch. Locos is a takeout taco stand in what used to be to be an ice cream stand. At first we planned to eat at the picnic tables out front, but traffic on W 130th was too little too loud for that. Our order took a little bit because, as they noted, everything is made to order. At the suggestion of a few regulars standing in line we got the loaded chicken French fries, the Birria tacos, and the California burrito. All of the food was very good, and the French fries were a meal for two in themselves. I’d definitely go back and have everything I ordered all over again. It was very good. There was a good amount of oil left over on my plate, but the food did not taste greasy. Very good take out taco place. It looks like they are trying to add a patio area in the back away from the traffic noise. That would be a nice addition. I much prefer eating food on the premises when it is hot off the grill.

So the food is made to order so be prepared to wait or call in your order. The food is very good and flavorful. The burger and fries are really good. The chicken taco was yummy. I even had ice-cream why I waited.

We went today around 2pm. Young lady working the window was very pleasant. We ordered (all corn tortillas) 5 beef tacos $3 ea, 1 steak taco $4 & 1 quesa birria taco $4, side of consumé $2 & street corn in a cup $4. Food is made to order, ours took about 15mins. A 25min drive home & the food was still warm enough to eat without being reheated. The taco shell texture was not compromised at all. The tacos were nice n crispy on the bite, soft and chewy. The ground beef tacos taste like when I make tacos at home. The shredded beef on my birria taco was a little tough. The consumé wasn’t bursting with flavor but it had a decent taste to it. There was an off slightly sweet taste with an overpowering aroma of cinnamon. Other than that, just salt. However, it paired nicely as a dip for all 3 different meats. The steak was tender and not dry. The toppings to base ratio was just right. Each taco came topped with cilantro, diced white onion & shredded mozzarella w lime n secret sauce on the side. The secret sauce taste like mixing the chipotle tobasco, honey vinaigrette & sour cream at chipotle; it’s a nice addition to the tacos for a different flavor. The street corn cup was tender and sweet with a little bit of tang (i squeezed lime on mine). Overall we enjoyed our food & will def go back.

2 times in a row they completely forgot about my order! Waited an hour for 7 tacos and some sides. This time I waited 35 minutes for 6 tacos and sides because I was camped in the drive thru. Other people who got here after got their orders already. Never even bothered to check on us, I had to flag down the person when she was bring food to someone else. Don’t bother coming here if you intend on actually eating any time soon. Worst service I have experienced by far. Came back to give them a second shot because the food was good, but after 2 MASSIVE delays, never again
