I loved their ice box coffee!! Pancakes were topped with maple infused butter
We waited less than 15 for food, seating was abundant, and it was easy to talk to each other.
The only reason it’s getting 4 stars is because the loaf was ever so slightly undercooked. I still ate it and it was delicious, but should be baked a bit longer.

I actually have a question and kind of a concern about the pricing. I’m including a photo of part of the menu for just a breakfast sandwich that I ordered. According to the menu the breakfast sandwich is $8 and it includes egg and cheese and for an extra cost you can add sausage bacon and ham for an additional $3 charge. But the way the menu reads is it looks like you can have all three for $3 but at the register it’s an additional $3 for each meat. Most restaurants will say or your choice of sausage or bacon or ham.
Now I did order the breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese and added sausage. It was delightful and the biscuit was really good and the sausage stands out from any other restaurant that I’ve been to for breakfast. My wife ordered the Jack Attack and the bacon eggs and pancakes were very good and the syrup really stands out different from other restaurants in the area. Overall really enjoyed the experience but for the breakfast sandwich costing $8 just for egg and cheese and then if you were to add all three meats that’s a a $17 breakfast sandwich?
It was good but it was NOT $17 good. Prices are LOCO
At the counter there is a display case sweets and everything in that thing looked delicious. I got the iced cinnamon roll and asked for it to be packed up to take home for later and I included the picture in the case and a picture of what it looked like when I got home. Yes it was crammed into a small box and all the icing is smushed all over it I’m sure it will still be good later but I think that it could be better packaged so that when I opened it it would have looked a little bit like what I ordered.

They really played in our faces with the cinnamon roll. It’s literally just a piece of flavorless bread with a swirl on top and the icing is just cheap betty crocker cake icing. You are better off buying the pilsbury ones and making them yourself. Take this off the menu at once!

I got the jalapeño biscuit and iced coconut maple coffee and it was great! I didn’t notice the ice is actually frozen coffee until later which is a nice touch. The biscuit was warm and fluffy without being greasy.

Another Denton restaurant that has been on my list for far too long hits it out of the park. I love the order at the counter concept here (with cocktails being ordered at the bar area – excellent touch for brunch). The food was great (pancakes and ham&cheese omelet…yum). The only (very minor) complaint was how loud it was. You can see they have added some elements to cut down the noise but when the place is packed, it does little to help. Easy fix though, show up a little later and it won’t be an issue.

It was ok. Cute little spot. Food was just ok and our server acted like she really didn’t wanna be there. But it was a cozy spot.

Absolutely delicious! I was shocked when I saw the coffee even had coffee ice cubes! Food was good and service was good! I only had one complaint. The quesadillas had the extra charge for the added chorizo. It wouldn’t be nearly as good or seasoned without it. Regardless, I will be coming back!

Qour first time. We both had the Christmas Enchiladas. They were terrific and the fried egg was cooked to order. I would pass on the biscuit and gravy with sausage. There are better items to choose frim. Coffee was superb as was the service. We will be back!

Do not come here! I got the snapper fish tacos, and my girlfriend got the magic chicken soup with a grilled cheese. The fish tacos looked like a plate of throw up that’s been sitting under a heat lamp for 20 minutes. It was very dull, lacked in flavor, and was very soggy best thing on the plate was the refried beans. $14 for some beans?? There was nothing magic at all about the magic chicken soup. I’m 90% sure It comes in a frozen bag that they boil the crap out of every morning. I’m glad they know how to make a grilled cheese because that was honestly the only thing we could eat after spending $35. I’d much rather go to Greenhouse, L’Amitie or Hannah’s for a good Brunch.

I’m hesitant to leave a review because I love to support local businesses, but I want to give them a chance to improve. Went in for brunch today, met with adequate service, nothing enthusiastic. Our coffee drinks came out pretty quickly and were darn good, fan of the mudslide. We waited a good bit considering how slow it was, only for the food to come out lukewarm and a bit bland. Just a bit disappointed when I could have paid for something cheaper and more consistent elsewhere.
