My wife and I absolutely loved this place! Everything about this Mexican restaurant was on point. The service was outstanding! Our server was Gavin and he was excellent. Never once had to ask for refills, he was very approachable and respectful as well. The food presentation was incredible and tasted amazing. Very unique spin on traditional Mexican food. The taste was unique as well, having that Mexican spicy taste but with a modern spin. My wife ordered the locos nachos with beef and I ordered the enchiladas supremas (both dishes are pictured) and those dishes exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back! If you stop by this restaurant, ask for Gavin! He will take great care of you!

Bro, worst Mexican food I’ve ever had – literally. Rice texture was like quinoa , entire bell pepper bottom slice COLD was just thrown in there (it’s literally in the picture ), onions were microwaved? or something, Red Salsa was watered down weird not salsa tasting. Green salsa was okay but watery. Brown salsa was actually good. The beans were NOT mexican style? Or a version of mexican I’ve never had. A version I’ve never had in Mexico, Texas, or the +50 other mexican restaurants I’ve been to. Sadly, a friend said they were really good.. they DEFINITELY are not.. They were clean though and staff was really good.

I am so in love with this place that i’d sell them my kidney for another bite to eat here I’d sacrifice my first born just for a chip loaded with their fire roasted salsa it’s THAT good.
This is literally the best Mexican food i’ve ever had in my life(and it’s not just the weed talking)
Me and my dad drove 31/2 hours for this place and I plan on making the drive again before i move out of state.
My only complaint is THEY NEED MORE LOCATIONS.

Our margarita pitcher had black mold in it. After we drank the margaritas out of it, we noticed what looked like dirt on the side. We wiped the pitcher and black mold came off onto the napkin then they didn’t even bring the tortillas that came with the ACP. We asked for them after they didn’t bring them with the meal and they just never came. Then my husbands burrito was not what he ordered, so the kitchen remade it. We had to wait over an hour before his new burrito came out. Nothing that we ordered was special or customized either! We just wanted what was supposed to come with our food! We told the manager about the margarita pitcher and they didn’t even comp the pitcher or give us a discount.

This restaurant, in the West Town Mall, it’s fantastic! The atmosphere is light and beautiful. The decorations really make the place shine. The service is excellent. I had a waitress who had her first day working alone. She did a wonderful job! The food is outstanding! I liked how they served three types of salsa with the chips before the meal arrived. The pineapple salsa was delicious!

3/1/26 – ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!! Would give a “0” if I could.
My husband and I went to Loco Burro in West Town Mall for lunch as we were going shopping and it was easy stop. We didn’t realize it was a buffet only on Sunday for lunch but decided to stay. We went ahead and sat down, ordered our drinks (2 margaritas and water).
We went through the buffet, which was a combination of breakfast and lunch and picked items. When I say disgusting I mean each item we picked we were able to only taste a bite. Most of my bites I spit back into a napkin. The food was absolutely horrible! Our waitress was so nice so we didn’t complain during the meal. We thought surely there was something we liked…We were wrong! Nothing on the buffet menu was edible, it was so gross! We ended up spending $90 on the chips and salsa that they bring to the tables, a spoon of guacamole and cheese dip from the buffet, and two margaritas.
I did tell the waitress when she brought the check and ask us how it was. I told her that she was great and the margaritas were good but that it was the absolute WORST buffet we had ever had anywhere. She apologized and gave us a discount, which was fine because again she was nice and we did attempt to eat the food we put on our plates.
Next was the manager, I believe his name was James. He was rude to everyone that came in contact with including me. I was at the buffet line when he walked through and I ask him if there were any available flour tortillas. He shrugged his shoulders in annoyance and said “I don’t know, I guess I can check”. Then I waited. 5-7 minutes as he came back and filled other food items on buffet never acknowledging me again even to say they were working on it. I finally stepped around the corner to the man that was at the carving station and ask him. He went back to check and again, no follow up from him after 2-3 minutes. As I was leaving to retur to table to just ask my waitress, a lady came with a towel folded up to refill tortillas. She opened the towel and ask me if I’d like fresh ones, which was great of her!
Back to the manager. He was awful. We actually sat observing him talking about his attitude. There was another group complaining to the manager during this time about the food and the service of another waitress. He just stood there like he was annoyed. He ended up walking from the table and passed the waitress and heard her ask what they said, he just completely ignored her and kept walking. You could see the fear from her. He came back with a lady from the back, not sure if she was an owner or what but she didn’t want to listen to the group either. The manager, again I believe his name was James, should not be managing a person much less a restaurant. Never once did I observe him smiling, checking on tables, being polite to anyone he came in contact with. He was awful.
Long story short, we spent a lot of money for a lunch of 2 margaritas and supposedly our free chips and salsa. My husband told me just this morning that he wasn’t sure he’d be able to eat an egg anytime soon due to the ones he tried there because they were so awful.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS RESTAURANT, IT IS DISGUSTING AND THE WORST FOOD WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED ALONG WITH THE WORST MANAGER!

Had a fantastic experience at Loco Burro! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when dining out. On top of that, our server Ashley did an awesome job. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect without being overbearing. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
