I ordered a cake for my parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary. We were looking for something very specific & after working with Kathleen she knew exactly what I wanted & her team made our vision perfect! All of our cakes were delicious-I couldn’t decide which cake flavor was my favorite!! I added on cookies to our order last minutes & the tray was color coordinated with the cake! I ordered two cakes for a retirement party recently and they turned out amazing! Guests were complimenting both cakes all night. When I placed the order, the counter girl was very helpful with my ideas for designs and wrote down every little detail. When I picked up the cakes, they were beyond perfect. Lourdes is not just a cake decorator. She is an artist. The price was reasonable considering how much went into these cakes. Quality ingredients. Impeccable artwork! The retirement cake was pound cake and the birthday cake was layer cake. Both were so delicious that there was no leftover cake. None! I always have a great experience here and the cakes I order are always perfect but these two far exceeded my expectations!

I’ve ordered 2 cakes for my sons’ in the past 6 months and they both were amazing. Not only were they the best tasting but both so beautiful. Lochel’s is so easy to order with and accommodating with requests and pickup times. They’re our go to! I also started a new tradition for birthday donuts for myself instead of caking because their donuts are so good.

I’ve been meaning to write this review since July..I ordered a 60th bday party cake for my dad with the ‘Margaritaville’ theme cake. I showed one pic I sent in for reference. I was a little nervous just having 2-3 pics sent in for reference (with room for changes if needed!) but they blew my expectations out of the park. I had friends at the party say it was the best cake they ever had, and we just did classic yellow/chocolate/marble. And it not only tasted amazing, it looked phenomenal! The staff were receptive and extraordinarily talented! I’m sorry it took me so long to write this review but Im so grateful for Lochel’s creativity and talent!!

I have been ordering cakes from Lochel’s Bakery for years. They have always provided great cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other delicious treats along with great service. I would especially like to send a special thank our cake decorator Miranda! She did as my daughter said an amazingly awesome job with her 16th birthday cake and cupcakes. They were absolutely gorgeous! She was nervous when I ordered her cake but I assured her that it would be okay. When we all saw the cake and cupcakes, they were more than okay! They were so beautiful and everything my daughter wished for! Thank you soooo much! Oh and of course everything was delicious! I will always recommend Lochel’s Bakery to anyone since I’ve had nothing but the best when I have ordered from them. I added baby’s breaths to the cupcakes but the cake and cupcakes details were all Miranda! I shared some of my daughter’s moments from her special day from her first reaction till she blew out the candles Thank you guys again!

What a delicious chocolate chip pound cake for my boyfriend’s 70th Birthday this past Saturday! Everyone complimented the taste! Thank you to everyone at Lochels for being part of this special day and memory! Appreciated the delivery too!! The theme was James Bond as you can see by the cake topper.

We traveled 1,000 miles from IL just for these famous donuts/sweets. Jen and staff were excellent, friendly and super nice. There was so many to choose from so we ordered a sampler of almost all their donuts. They’re to die for. You can order online but we wanted to personally see the bakery and see selections for ourselves. See you guys in 2 days on our way back home ❤️❤️❤️

Lochel’s is so awesome from the cool window displays that changes often, the friendliest staff around and most important the BEST baked goods. The donuts and the cake are my favorite but I have never had anything I didn’t like. I was a long time customer of another bakery for birthday cakes and once I had Lochel’s, I drive 45 min to get them there! I’d be in trouble if they were closer because I would be there every week!
