We went to Loch Bar without realizing it was their $1 oyster special Wednesday, so that was a very happy surprice. We were also celebrating my mom and dad’s birhtdays and the server was incredibily kind and attentive during the whole dinner. He even surprised us with free slices of cake for the both of them, which was veyr thoughtful and appreciated.

The oysters were fresh and delicious, and the overall atmosphere was warm and enjoyable. We started with the crab and artichoke dip and the bone in filet chops, and I don’t have much to say about them. For entrées, the herb roasted branzino was the clear standout of the night. It was excellent, along with the oysters and the lobster pasta.

I would probably skip the Maine lobster roll next time. It was fine, I would much rather order another dozen or two of oysters instead.

For sides, we had the honey sriracha fried Brussels sprouts and the shells and cheese, and both were very good. Between the great food, the thoughtful service, and the nice ambiance, it was a memorable experience. I would definitely come back, especially for the oysters.

One complaint my parents had was that it was super dark inside but that’s not a big problem at all.

Great service at the bar. They have Happy Hour even on Sundays so I took full advantage of it. The oysters and shrimp cocktail were super fresh, and the cocktails were very good, but my favorite was the moules-frites. Even the bread was amazing. Atmosphere was OK but it was 4pm on a Sunday; would love to check it out at a livelier time of day.

My husband and I had the lobster pasta and braised ribs with jalapeño grits and it was so good! The manager was great and our server Sierra was wonderful. We came to celebrate our birthdays and we could not have chosen a better place. I wish nothing but the best for this place so we can keep coming back!

Decided to check the Loch out on a Saturday night during Houston’s restaurant month. I looked up the location ahead of time and saw that it was in a very nice area ( rich ) with a lot happening ( shopping/ restaurants/ movie theater) , so I knew that parking was going to be an issue. My first thought was to just valet park for the $10 plus but when we arrived we saw this huge garage in the middle of the complex that supposedly indicates where there are empty spots so we gave it a try. Not necessary true. By the time you reach the spot it is already snapped up. That was a wasted 10 minutes so we decided to exit and go back to the valet. I recommend this if it’s on the weekend and prime time ( 7:00pm – 9:30pm). You can pay with $$, credit or Apple Pay The restaurant itself is in beautiful plaza / mall, it is not super large but has that nice rich dark interior. The ambiance is great. We were initially seated at a table that was half booth and half chairs in the main dining area but I don’t like being out in the walk way because of the traffic , so I requested a booth. They were able to find us an open booth in what I describe as the bar side. I liked this spot better because it was closer to the background music ( nice touch) and a TV or two with sports on. The volume in this area didn’t interfere with our conversation at all. They have 3 of the shared restrooms which are not my wife’s favorite, but they were very clean. There was a small line because they only have the three. As for the food, we had a set menu for restaurant month. We all had the breaded salmon/cucumber as the app but gave it a 5/10 because it was not really fried as hard as we expected. The entrees were the blackened redfish 8/10 and the Nashville fried chicken 8/10. For the dessert we all got the apple cheesecake which was surprisingly good 9/10. Only one person ordered a drink ( lemon drop) and I thought $25 for that was a little excessive. Our servers name was Seven and she did an outstanding job throughout. She was very knowledgeable, pleasant and patient. Be aware that there is a 3 percent service fee attached to your bill which you can have removed if you to do so . Would we return or recommend this restaurant. Definitely

Seven was our server and she was ADORABLE and the sweetest thing. We got the late night happy hour oysters, the calamari (not pictured), and I had the Tiny Dancer cocktail. Everything was fantastic!

The trick here is to visit during happy hour($5 and$10 specials)!! The tater tots, calamari, and burgers were excellent. The company and conversation with neighbors (great atmosphere) was so good I forgot to take pics of my food. Bartender and drinks were on point.

I came here to celebrate with a dear friend a long time ago and nothing would be better than to celebrate with something live! It was both our first time trying raw oysters and this place had the perfect look for seafood. The Loch Bar made it an amazing experience, I ordered a salad and it was great! Fresh and fun. My friend had a fish burger, she liked it but it wasn’t her favorite.

The oysters were probably the most fun part of our dining experience, our server (forgot his name!) was incredibly informative and super friendly throughout the whole process which took away all the nervousness.

The raw oysters were interesting and different, I really enjoyed it for my first time. The atmosphere inside is beautiful and classic. I will definitely be back to try other menu options and if I’m feeling bold again, fresh oysters!

Excellent food and service. Our waitstaff Adriana was simply superb. Try the lobster pasta and thank me later. Huge portion size and just decadent taste. Also gave us a free delicious melt-in-your mouth chocolate cake for my friend’s birthday. Will highly recommend this place.

I was looking for a happy hour that was light yet elevated for my birthday and the Loch Bar was IT! My partner and I sat at the bar and the bartender Andres did an amazing job at attending us the entire time ✨. We started with the Vodka Oyster Shooters which were divine, then the Caviar Tater Tots and lastly the Fried Calamari and a dozen of the $1.50 Oysters!! Amazing deal and service. I WILL be coming back!
