The customer service and hospitality were just as impressive. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making great recommendations and checking in at just the right times. From start to finish, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of.
The dinner atmosphere was warm, upscale, and lively without feeling rushed. Loch Bar is a perfect spot for a great dinner experience, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
The food and drinks were excellent. We split an order of the Crispy Calamari and Shrimp, my boyfriend ordered the Chicken and Sausage Gumbo while I went with the Cream of Crab soup. When ordering our soups, we expected the bowl to be smaller but were pleasantly surprised by the portion given. For me, I would probably get the cup next time instead of the bowl lol. All of our food was great! Tasty, served fresh and hot, great portions sizes. Our drinks were really good too! Our server/bartender did her thing making my lemon drop martini – I appreciate her asking if I had a preferred tequila.
Our first time here was very good and we definitely plan to come back as we love seafood. Look forward to trying a number of other items in the menu!
When we walked in, we were greeted with a smile, by a gentleman holding the door for us and escorting us inside. The atmosphere was intimate, yet very inviting. The marble tables and counter tops at the bar were designed beautifully, at the bar you could see fresh seafood on beds of ice behind glass. The room was filled with a good energy. There was a live singer playing piano as well.
Our waitress was very kind and polite. She explained everything wonderfully. Some of the options we wanted to try were sold out by the time we arrived (reservation was at 10:15 Friday night), but in all the food we ordered was great.
For starters we tried the gumbo, crab tater tots, and the calamari. Although the calamari could have been a little more crispy, it was very good, we could taste the squid was fresh. The gumbo was good, but the star of appetizers for me was the house made tots! They were crispy on the outside with a smooth whipped potato filling, then topped with fresh crab meat and sat on a garlic aioli sauce. DELICIOUS… MUST TRY!
Considering it’s the New Year, I went for the Cobb salad with filet tips. The salad was made with an in house ranch dressing that was perfect, and all the toppings were fresh. It was delicious!
We ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, which was cooked perfectly! Hearty, but delicate in its own right. The flavors were on point.
My brother ordered the New York Strip Diane. His steak was cooked to his liking and the sauce and vegetable accompaniment paired lovely. We also ordered the Filet Mignon which was delicious as well. It was so good, my Sister in Law didn’t let me take a photo for my review .
I would definitely recommend trying, and I’d come back again! ☀️
