Excellent service and atmosphere. The food was very tasty. I had the lobster ravioli, very rich and buttery. My friend had the branzino which i tasted and was good. Very interesting key lime cheesecake. The table bread with pesto spread was excellent.

Wow! What a surprising find near Beverly Hills/West Hollywood area. From the front it doesn’t seem much but on the inside it’s transforms into a welcoming Italian style place. There’s also great lighting for a nice and intimate meal for a small group or a date. We found this place through Dine LA and really enjoyed our experience. The service was attentive without being too overbearing and the food was excellent! We had an octopus that was thinly sliced and burrata that just melted in our mouth. For our main entree we got the gnocchi that was pillowy with pieces of lobster. There’s a heartiness and authenticity that gives the food a special feel that isn’t too overproduced. Really a gem of a place a look forward to coming back again!

Very cozy and quiet place where you want to have a nice dinner with your loved one. Although only valet parking is available, street parking is out of the question. A waiter is super knowledgeable about the menu.

It was all wonderful and made even more so by the charming and knowledgeable Massimo. The ambience felt like so many charming restaurants in Italy. The food was some of the best Italian I have had and I have spent months in many different Italian towns. I don’t think you can go wrong with any menu choice, and the wines were wonderful. I wish that I lived in LA so that we could become regulars! Finché non potrò tornare.

Wonderful spot. The food, wine, and service were exceptional. Massimo is a gem and makes the entire experience. The broiled calamari, pasta with lamb ragu, veal chops and tiramisu were all as good as I’ve enjoyed them in Italy—if not better. I’ll definitely be back. One of my new favorites in LA!

Last week, we gathered for a delightful end-of-year luncheon to celebrate my division team! I chose the two-course lunch special for $21.95, which included the mouthwatering Venetian Caesar and the flavorful Venetian Spaghetti Lenticchie. Each bite transported me straight back to the charming “Pane e Salame” restaurant I visited years ago in Rome. The authentic Italian flavors and perfect portion sizes made this meal truly unforgettable!

This restaurant has been here for a long time and it’s traditional Italian food or as close as I know it to be. Everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious and the service here was fantastic. Our server was very accommodating when we asked for a side of vegetables that was not on the menu, but they still made it perfectly for us and you can tell that it wasn’t a bunch of stuff thrown together, but that the chef actually out in effort to cook it properly.
The complementary bread came with a pesto sauce, which is the first time that I’ve encountered that. But it was absolutely delicious, the sauce and the texture of the bread.
They also brought out an off the menu cake for us when we had told them ahead of time that it was my birthday. I absolutely loved this restaurant and would definitely come back again.

I had a Travelzoo to come here. Love that Travelzoo can introduce ppl to some great places. My friend and I had lunch here. It’s a cute place and they have valet.
We had some bubbly to start. We order 3 starters. The soup of the day was Bell pepper soup which was really good! The grilled calamari was amazing & tender. The salad had grilled grapes which were nice. The 2 pasta dishes were good. Mine had lentils and hers was spicy. The sole dish was very good! Always my fave part is the sorbet which was refreshing. We had lemon, raspberry & mango.
The service was outstanding. Our server was attentive, funny, kind & treated us well.
Will definitely come back if I’m in the area.
Only issue I had was because it was humid there were flying little bugs around.

Discovered this place totally by accident. The mushroom risotto was great. The atmosphere intimate and pleasant. Service was nice too. Feels like walking into an old world restaurant that you don’t get in LA too often anymore.
